It's a great app for consolidating your kids' school communication, related activities and events, volunteer commitments, and shared photo and docs. Now I can keep track of which kid has to wear red and which kid has to bring show and tell and on the correct day. ### 5/5 — Forgetful no more *2015-08-04, version 1.0.73* What I love about this app is that I can store events, documents and pictures in one place for my "family circle". With back to school coming up, I am always forgetting the ice cream social dates, when music class starts and what my kiddo needs to bring to school. I'm crossing my fingers that this means no more excuses for losing music practice notes and no more last minute runs to the house to pick up forgotten field trip forms. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not working *2016-09-26, version 1.1.32* I had read a review on a mom tech blog that circle was a good way to manage group info. I've downloaded the app and can't add my basic group info. The app times out and gives me an error when I try to add a circle name. Too bad, thought the combination of features was a good one. ### 1/5 — Doesn't work *2015-09-30, version 1.1.21* I go to add an calendar event and click done then the whole app shuts down. When I edit an event it doesn't replace, but duplicates Then I need to go one-by-one and delete all of the "old" events Also, the keyboard in the add address field on mobile iPhone doesn't allow commas, so all group members need to be added one-by-one and saved out individually I do love the daily email digest! Some issues though: the photos are not showing up on the Photos area and there's no way to edit or delete older posts that I can find. It is difficult to find data management services that can organize both a non-profit and education. That written - the app is a good tool that just doesn’t always function as well as a web browser. I’m glad the school is using SimplyCircle (third year in a row), because everything I need is in one place. The calendar, volunteer signups, photos and field trips announcements are all there. I like that I get notified when there is a new post or announcement. It has a great calendar that has volunteer signup sheets integrated. The best part is the ability to broadcast messages to the entire team which is critical when we go to tournaments and the playing times are not set in stone.
