We hear you, and we're sorry this felt disrespectful to our faith, that was never our intent. Our hope is for Simran to be free one day. Right now membership is what lets us build slowly and pay the artists, creators and developers behind it a livable wage, without ads or selling anyone's spiritual data. There's a 7 day free trial and a full refund if it's not for you. We'll also pass along the notification issue to our team. Waheguru 🙏
Gurbani Shouldn’t Be Behind a Paywall 🙏
I understand developers need to cover their costs, but putting essential spiritual content behind a subscription doesn’t feel right. There are many people who genuinely want to get closer to God and learn more about Sikhi, but may not be able to afford another subscription. 🙏

Our real hope is for Simran to be free for everyone one day, but we have to build it slowly and rightly first. Right now membership is what lets us pay the artists, creators, and developers behind Simran a livable wage, and it means we never have to put ads in the app or sell anyone spiritual data to survive. We're not collecting your data to sell, if anything that's exactly why we chose to be a paid app, we refuse to put ads in Simran or sell your spiritual data to anyone.
