It is not possible to provide the app totally free or as a once off paid app since Simulon makes use of cloud ML and cloud rendering services. That being said, we have just released an update that includes a free version with a limited allocation of monthly render credits as well as a more affordable and accessible entry level tier. We hope this meets your expectation and that you might reconsider your review after trying the new update. ### 1/5 — Privacy Invasive *2025-10-26, version 1.0.2* I understand that spatial data may be necessary, and simple performance logging (device, performance stats), but Simulon does NOT need to know my precise geographical location in addition to the massive amount of personal data logging kept according to the app's Privacy Policy. I am a customer willing to pay for this kind of service, but I will not be making an account nor using Simulon until these standards are improved, this is outrageously invasive. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2025-10-25* I bought this app thinking it was a free fun fx app but after 10 hours of setting up it demanded payment at least add some free features some free assets or at least add a warning that it’s not free before i wast storage to buy the app without Even using it I’m sad disappointed and mad very mad 1 star **Developer response:** The app does not take 10 hours to set up and we have always offered a free trial. It’s easy to spend hours in here and lose track of time. Loving it so far! ### 5/5 — Unbelievably good *2025-11-01* I’m honestly blown away by how good this is. Ridiculously easy to create AR scenes, no tech skills needed. It just works, and it’s a lot of fun to play with. Pretty sure it’s a glimpse of the future - one day we’ll all take it for granted, but right now it’s like a bit of a miracle. It’s great to finally see Simulon available to all of us so we can create amazing VFX!! I love being able to take my animated 3D characters out in the world and film them using Simulon and also be able edit them in Blender.
