## What is SimuLook?

Find the film recipe behind your photo. SimuLook helps Fujifilm photographers read camera settings, explore new looks and keep a recipe library ready for the next shoot.

READ A RECIPE FROM A PHOTO
Choose a supported original Fujifilm JPEG with its camera metadata intact. Read its film simulation, white balance and other available settings, then save a recipe. No cable or account is needed for this local workflow.

PREVIEW AND EDIT YOUR LOOK
Compare up to six software previews. Adjust light, colour and effects, crop and straighten, add frames or text, and copy edits between results. Software previews help compare a direction; in-camera results can differ.

KEEP YOUR RECIPES TOGETHER
Save favourites, organise your own recipes and import or export settings. Add a sample photo so you can remember the look and share it clearly.

DISCOVER AND SHARE
Browse community recipes and find settings for your style. Sign in to publish a recipe with a sample photo, follow photographers, comment and message. Share a recipe or profile with a link.

FREE TO START
Local recipes, community browsing, supported-photo reading and supported camera C1–C7 reading/backup are free. Optional Premium unlocks verified camera writing. Writing is limited to supported settings on X100VI firmware 1.32; compatibility is checked in the app. No purchase is needed to explore recipes.

Available on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.12 — 2026-10-16

More complete recipe transfers for X100VI firmware 1.32: verified white balance modes, Color, Sharpness, High ISO NR -4/0 and custom slot names. Every write is read back, and partial transfers clearly show failed or skipped settings.

White balance dependencies and slot checks help keep transfers consistent. Half-step highlight and shadow values remain exact. ISO and exposure ranges appear separately as shooting guidance.

### 1.0.11 — 2026-09-26

Writing a recipe to an X100VI now includes the white balance shift, and the color temperature when the slot is already set to Kelvin. Every setting in the recipe now shows whether it was written or skipped, and why.

Account deletion now accepts the confirmation word shown in your language. The publish confirmation explains how to remove a published recipe, and the in-app privacy policy is up to date.

Loading community recipes is more robust.

### 1.0.10 — 2026-09-13

Premium access refreshes when you return to the app, including Lifetime access redeemed elsewhere. Restoring purchases is more reliable.

Sign-in and password-reset messages are clearer. Comment likes and recipe publishing work more reliably, including retrying a failed publication.

Studio handles photo changes more reliably while previews or RAF development are in progress. Camera compatibility guidance is clearer, and more Fujifilm camera models are available in recipe filters.

### 1.0.9 — 2026-09-09

Studio is easier to reach on iPhone and iPad. Your photo stays visible while you adjust light, colour and crop. Double-tap an adjustment slider to reset it, and pinch the photo to zoom.

Likes, saved recipes, comments and the camera testing form work more reliably.

Lifetime Premium is clearly identified in Settings. Purchase restoration gives clearer feedback, and supported Macs can redeem Apple offer codes in the app.

### 1.0.8 — 2026-09-08

Preview has a fuller set of editing tools for light, colour, crop, frames and text. Copy an edit across results to compare your looks.

Recipe and profile sharing now includes a link. Add sample photos to your own recipes and follow likes, comments and new followers in the in-app activity screen.

First-use guidance is clearer. This update also improves draft protection, profile-photo saving, feed reliability, sign-in on Mac and layouts with larger text.
