I tried spreadsheets and manual ways, but this app works like a bomb. If I forgot to lock out, I simply apply to change the shift. It was recommended to me by our bookkeeper as she had a client currently using it and happy with the results. I totally agree! I had tried a different timekeeping app previously and both my employees and I thought it was a pain to navigate and not very user-friendly. SINC is the opposite - you can quickly click in/out as an employee, and as an employer, I can quickly and easily see how many hours are worked and who is clocked in. My bookkeeper has access to it so that I don’t even have to submit the hours!! That itself was a game changer for me. My employees can edit their time, which I’m able to approve and I can adjust their time easily! My wife can get the information she needs from the app and complete payroll with no issues. We have several employees that we have registered with the app and they have an easy time using it. We run a small construction company and have several jobs going on at the same time. This app helps keep track of time and with the GPS tracking tool we can ensure the employees are at the jobs. I use both the app version on my iphone and a lot of our employees have androids and it works well with both. I also use the online version from my desk top. At the end of each pay period I run a report which generates both an excel spreadsheet and pdf file for each employee along with the notes they leave for each shift. The reports are ideal for my billing procedure and payroll process. ONE MORE MOST IMPORTANT DETAIL!!!! The creators of this app have been very helpful from the start! I have had to email a few times back when I first signed up with questions and they are VERY responsive and quick with helping the user!! They’ve made changes to the app based on user suggestions and are always making improvements to make the app even better! I pay a very minimal monthly fee which is well worth the excellent quality of this product!! The app also has a built in messaging system to track communication which he uses for stocking and follow up notes. There haven’t been any issues with the program. The previous app we used gave us an option to put in our wages so we could quickly check to see how much we were making for the month. We could see how many hours we worked for a month or the year and compare it to previous timeframes. Why can’t this app provide these options for the employees? If editing a clock in or out, when putting in the reasons or adding notes to a job double tapping the space bar doesn’t put in the period like every other app I use on an iOS phone. It works flawlessly on both Iphones and Android. I have several “retired” employees who occasionally forget to clock out and I am alerted to make corrections, way easier than trying to figure things out on payroll day !! It is not difficult in anyway for anyone to use. Compared to other apps we tried, Sinc is hands down the best.
