### 3/5 — Edit timeframe?

*2024-12-21, version 2.6.0*

Having just activated a new phone and downloaded the app again, everything has now reset. It’s only been a few minutes since I quit rather than a lot longer. Any way to update with the correct details? Otherwise, will have to try another app I guess. Many thanks. Happy to update review if this is an option or is fixed.

### 4/5 — So simple yet so effective

*2022-04-23, version 2.6.0*

This app is great to keep track of unwanted habits. It’s simplicity is what makes it great. Pop in your information regarding your habits and that’s it. Keeping track of your progress is extremely easy and satisfying. Thank you for this free app. The app is totally free with the option to gift the programmer.

### 2/5 — Randomly reset

*2021-12-01, version 2.6.0*

Have been using for past few months, opened up the app the other day and it had reset itself to the current day, no indication as to why, other than that works ok

### 2/5 — Looks incorrect

*2021-10-11, version 2.6.0*

I stopped at 9am. Ive looked at it this morning around 8.30 - and it’s already 3 hours ahead
2 months, 2 weeks, 4 days, 3 hours, 42 mins.

I onlly downloaded a few weeks back,
It might just be how it’s calculating but its not really helpful tbh.

### 2/5 — Peeved a bit...

*2018-12-19, version 2.6.0*

I’ve been using this app since quitting on 2/12/11 to often gloat to family & friends personally & on FB...I have recommended it to many quitters. Today I went to check my stats and wholla- its all gone. Lucky I remember all the initial details. 😢

### 3/5 — Awesome app but update is needed

*2018-06-07, version 2.6.0*

I love this app, I show it to everyone and tell everyone about it. But it needs another update..

I don’t really like this newest update.
I do not like how the info is entered, the military time is screwy, I try to make it so it’s midnight and at midnight it tells me I’m blah blah blah and five extra hours into my quitting time when I’m not.
And I do not like that you cannot add change ($8.53) to the amount of how much a pack of cigarettes cost when you quit. You can only put in whole dollar amounts.

### 2/5 — Lost ALL my profile with an update, 5 years lost : (

*2018-01-21, version 2.6.0*

Loved this app till now.

### 5/5 — Yes to Since I Quit!

*2018-01-05, version 2.6.0*

Great visual representation of the progress made. Simple and effective! This way you can see every penny saved, every cigarette not smoked. It’s quite scary thinking about what I was doing for 20 years of my life!
Thanks for keeping this app going.... really helps us ex smokers stay that way!
Will definitely donate with all this money saved!
S x

### 3/5 — Shouldn't have updated

*2017-09-11, version 2.6.0*

I saved my data so I could type it all back in, so that wasn't a problem, but now instead of saving $6.41 per pack, I only get the option of saving "about $6" per pack. Kinda screwed up my whole savings amount. Last version was perfect, new update ruined the app.

### 1/5 — Data lost

*2017-08-30, version 2.6.0*

Very disappointing. Now all of my tracking is gone. And it started new tracking as of today with currency defaulting to £ instead of $.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Deleted immediately

*2021-03-28, version 2.6.0*

There’s no instructions on how to use this.
It’s just a counter about quitting smoking.

I’m trying to quit something else and already have days under my belt. Also want to change the money saved based on what I’m quitting. Don’t get the app at all.

### 1/5 — Can’t set my quit date

*2020-09-19, version 2.6.0*

I can’t adjust my quit date nor can I set the price of what I paid for my smokes, deleting the app, app is pretty much useless unless you download right when you quit, and you can’t accurately track how much money you saved. Also British pounds is the only option.

### 1/5 — Incorrect

*2019-11-24, version 2.6.0*

Only downloaded 2 minutes. The calculator is wrong.

### 1/5 — Easy to use, however.....

*2019-04-17, version 2.6.0*

I opened the app and it immediately starts a “timer” for not smoking. However, after clicking on everything I can see, there is no way to customize it to suite my needs. The customization that is shown in the description is NOT available...what the heck?

### 1/5 — Can’t make any custom settings

*2018-05-11, version 2.6.0*

Can’t custom set what I stopped doing whatsoever. Never selects anything I set in the custom parts.

### 1/5 — Deleted previous time

*2018-02-12, version 2.6.0*

Annoyed since the update has deleted my previous time 2+ years without smoking. Cheers guys

### 1/5 — Disappointing

*2018-01-21, version 2.6.0*

Set up app years ago, worked ok until I checked my progress only to find out it reset itself. Useless app deleted!

### 1/5 — Custom? Not an option

*2017-12-27, version 2.6.0*

The “custom” option doesn’t even work. It let me type what I wanted to customize, but would just stay on the “smoking” option. So all in all the only thing you’re “aloud” to quit is smoking. I don’t recommend this app to anyone who lives in the United States.

### 1/5 — Sooooo Disappointing

*2017-12-23, version 2.6.0*

This App used to be awesome! It was simple, easy to use and something I told a lot of people about, but these days since it’s major update it has gone backwards... I lost all my data from when I quit 4 years ago and it now has limited functionality... If you want to use by all mean, but it’s lost it’s worth of being rewarded with a donation...

### 1/5 — Lost all data after update

*2017-11-13, version 2.6.0*

After the ios 11 update, the app didnt work. Then, after the app update i lost everything. How can you backup when the app doesn't even open?!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — ‘The Scot in you’

*2024-02-27, version 2.6.0*

Yeah I have one of those too. This app is simple and genius. It’s never skipped a beat for me. I’ve reset it every so often, since every so often I go back to smoking like an idiot, but in the first few weeks of quitting especially, watching those numbers tick ever higher is very cathartic and has kept me going when I really needed it. If you’re wondering, this round I’ve been quit for 1 week, 4 days, 12 hours and saved $403 (Australian, tax). Here’s hoping it sticks this time!

### 5/5 — top free app for quitting

*2023-03-31, version 2.6.0*

just what i was looking for simple quick . I donated because the developer deserved it 5 stars all the way many thanks from a i hope permanent quitter

### 5/5 — Thanks

*2023-02-11, version 2.6.0*

I have had this app on my phone for about 10 years. When I finally quit smoking the app was very helpful in keeping me motivated to keep moving towards my goal. That was over 7 years ago.

Thank you!

### 5/5 — Great little app, support and donate

*2020-06-14, version 2.6.0*

Really helped my few months no drinking. Great little app. Yes, the months aren’t perfect, but that can be forgiven.

This is a guy’s personal project so please donate if you can.

### 5/5 — Fabulously simple

*2018-07-17, version 2.6.0*

Last time I quit I used the NHS equivalent to show how much I’d saved. Bizarrely that is no longer supported so I found this, which is simpler, better, clearer, very motivating. 1 day down!

### 5/5 — Frustrated

*2018-07-15, version 2.6.0*

I lost all info. And could only get £ & need $. A lot more trouble than it used to be 😓

### 5/5 — Simple!

*2018-07-13, version 2.6.0*

Awesome app. Been using it on and off for years with every attempt.

### 5/5 — Great little counter.

*2018-06-28, version 2.6.0*

This is a great little counter, looks like the developers listened to previous users. You can set it to record things from the past to the present and you can choose multiple subjects or items too which is great. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

### 5/5 — So grateful

*2018-06-09, version 2.6.0*

I have been smoke free 4 years thanks to this app.. My husband quit 8 weeks after me using it as well, he smoked almost 2 packs a day and tried many, many different things .... He is also still smoke free..... It's motivation. If u want a smoke open the app and see how far you've come, the craving will pass.... Good luck ... Thank u to Hugh Williams, u helped save our lives ... Brilliant

Update *** it's been 5 1/2 years still smoke free..
There has been no update and IOS will stop working with the old version .. please update

Yay!!! Thanks for the update ... I also lost all my info but just reentered it

6 years and 5 months ...still smoke free!! Thanks so much

### 5/5 — Long lost Friend

*2018-02-05, version 2.6.0*

I used this app 3-4 years ago when I quit smoking and loved it! I am now quitting again (insert numerous excuses) and I am delighted to see that the app has been updated and refreshed! Everything has worked as expected and we now have MONTHS!!!! Awesome! As other have said, please add cents back to the cost section. You may also consider adding an AM or PM section instead of using 24hr time as I think it’ll confuse most people. Thanks for the new “sharing” screen too! One idea would be to add the traditional Apple “share” button somewhere in the app so that it can be shared natively through the OS. Anyway, those are my ideas! Thanks for the amazing update, and congrats on the (I hope) continued quit!
