Every time I had logged back in, my saved files where no where to be found. Not sure how to fix this issue, I js want my melodies back😞😞 ### 3/5 — OK, but not accurate for me *2025-09-14* I tried this to help decipher human voice singing into sheet music. It hasn’t worked very well so far, and I assumed it was my poor voice. But I tried it with a test using a brief playing of a single voice by the Unthanks (clear, perfectly in tune singing and obviously better than me!). But the result was a bit of a mess with many missed notes, even on a slow melody song, and the notes that were recorded, plus the interpreted music scale, were completely wrong. So for now, I don’t think I can use the app as it is, but I’ll keep up with any updates to see if it improves. ### 2/5 — It is ok *2025-08-31* I just got the app and it is lacking many notes. But there is this one problem where I try to make a recording but the generated noise has a spring noise when it plays a note. Thank you in advance. ### 1/5 — Big Disappointment. *2023-07-23* I’ve been singing the same 20 seconds of a song directly into the app with no background noise or instruments playing repeatedly for the last 20 minutes. I tried singing it with words, on an “oooh”, closer or farther from the mic, at different tempos etc… long story short I didn’t get a single usable transcription. Like if you sing 50 notes you’ll end up with sheet music showing about 20 notes with weird gaps between them AND all of the notes are not only incorrect but they’re not even notes in the same key as each other so it’s sounds like total nonsense when played back. I’m a professional singer, and I know the problem isn’t with my pitch. This is a great idea, but it has a LONG way to go as it does not work at all. Especially If you’re new to music skip this app, it will only make you hopelessly confused. **Developer response:** Hi there, thank you for your honest review. An easy program that should be free and it’s not even made so it works correctly I got the keyboard in the way. If anyone tells you china or anywhere else in the world can’t make decent products don’t listen to them. Nothing is worse than American made or assembled. The Apple Store and all its affiliates are proof of that. **Developer response:** Hey, we are sorry for the inconvenience. What kind of device do you use? ### 1/5 — Recognition is unusable. *2023-03-01, version 1.2.1* The app seems quite simple. I recorded a sample of me singing Doe A Deer from the sound of music (first two lines of the chorus). I’m professionally trained and sang in C major. The results were pretty poor. The algorithm got both the pitch and rhythm wrong. It didn’t even manage to capture the same amount f notes as were sung. The transcription was unusable. Subsequent tests returned similar results. ### 2/5 — Not quite there yet *2023-02-05, version 1.2.1* This is a great idea in principle, but the transcript is clearly off key. When the algorithms improve this will be a winner. ### 1/5 — Too bad, notes transcribe inaccurate *2022-12-05* I tested the app. No matter the input is human vocal singing or a piano solo piece, the sing2notes app can NOT get the note right. The result is miserable, totally inaccurate transcription. Totally Useless. **Developer response:** Hi there, thank you for your review. It just wants your email so it can track you and share your email to outsider and send you ads. Trust me it will not record your sound and transcribe. I’m in my 70’s and been trying to write a few songs for My choir and fellow singers in church. Obviously, I’m not from the Techie generation, so I had to have a lot of help figuring this all out. In my 30 plus years in computerese an online tinkering, I’ve never found anyone as helpful and patient as this developer. Not only responding to me but extremely prompt and courteous as well. The apps are amazing, they work flawlessly and speak in plain common terms anyone can understand. I already know how I want the tune to be. Sometimes when I’m lazy about finding the tune on the piano, the app helps out a whole lot. It helps me to know what key I’m singing in and helps me to read notes to my song. It helps to add the music. Thanks for creating the app. Idea: Later you could add more instruments, and we could create our own band just singing. Das geht nur am Desktop und einem Rechner. Damit verliert die App ihren Charme - weil eigentlich super coole Idee und Funktion. Natürlich lässt sich die Stimme nicht einfach erkennen und natürlich kommt dann auch was anderes raus, als man reingesungen hat. Das lässt sich eigentlich gar nicht vermeiden. Sing mal bitte deine gesummte Melodie komplett im richtigen Pitch. Ehrlich gesagt kenne ich auch keine andere App, die das gut kann. Deswegen wäre die praktische Korrektur on the Go… Mobil und auf dem Smartphone entscheidend und würde diese App echt wesentlich brauchbarer und attraktiver machen!
