The bus managed to drive past my stop and when it did, I was on the app, and it stated that the bus was still at the previous stop. Not only this happened, this morning on this very same day, the app stated it was arriving, so I was getting my card ready to board. But all of a sudden, the arriving suddenly became 22 minutes, and I have been at this bus stop for half an hour. ### 4/5 — Review about Singabus *2026-04-11, version 3.3.2* The Singabus app bus timing + MRT is usually accurate but sometimes not.That is why I chose 3/5 ### 3/5 — 50% accuracy *2025-11-14, version 3.3.2* 50% of the time it comes as it says, the other 50% its completely off. For example, when it states 5-6mins, the total time it takes can be over 10 mins. Every minute in the app isn’t the same as real time. It also detects buses that don’t exist. Stating that a bus is coming in x minutes, but as you update, it disappears and gets updated with the next long time bus timing instead. Also instances where a bus goes undetected and appears. There have been so many times where it said the bus has not arrived, due to which I ran up from the mrt station, but turned out that the bus left already (the app still said the bus was coming). It used to be very accurate in the past, but it's recently become a nuisance ### 1/5 — Unreliable Bus Timing *2024-08-09, version 3.3.1* Bus timing is almost always wrong. I end up waiting really long for a bus beyond just 1-2minutes, sometimes additional 10minutes. These incidents have caused me to need to take taxis, change plans or be late for important events. At times, the app will over estimate the bus arrival time. Like today it estimated a bus to arrive in 35minutes. I could not afford to wait 35minutes so I took a taxi. Just as my taxi arrived, the bus arrived! Nothing frustrates me more than having to realise that the bus timing says 3 minutes but then arrives earlier than it, resulting me in missing this bus and end up catching the other one 20 minutes later. Even worse, when waiting, bus timing is very bipolar, timing keeps changing. From 7 minutes to 8 minutes, and finally decides to keep at 7 minutes for the next 10 minutes. Stop playing mind games with us commuters, it’s really not funny. Bus locations are reconfirmed at every busstop. Despite having all this data available, there are no reliable bus arrival projections available. Arrival times wildly jump up and down. This has been ongoing for years. I understand this app is not responsible for generating the bus arrival information but redistributes what it gets from another source. It’s like garbage in garbage out. I ran but those buses didn’t wait for me, and the app showed me that it’s both buses arriving in 11-14 minutes. I was late for school. This app is actually no different because literally the one time I decide to use it, the bus arrival times spontaneously change drastically. Today, 10 minutes was suddenly added to the bus arrival time, after I walked several blocks to this bus stop instead of walking the opposite direction to the train station like I always do. Ironic that people will become late instead due to this app. Completely defeats the purpose of using the app since some of us use this to decide our commute route and save times. Apps like this need to be dependable to be useful.
