I don’t know why this thing has 5 -stars. It’s glitchy, notes cut out, and doesn’t pick up pitch well. This whole thing is a waste of time.

**Developer response:** Hi - founder here. You're not imagining this, and it's not your singing. Newer iPhones apply voice processing that can treat a long held note as background noise and cut it off mid-note - especially in the "Automatic" and "Voice Isolation" mic modes.

What helps right now: while the app is open, swipe down into Control Center, tap Mic Mode, and select "Standard" instead of Automatic or Voice Isolation. Practicing with headphones improves detection further. A proper fix on our side is in the works so you won't need to do any of this.
