If someone likes your profile you aren’t able to click on the notification to see who the person is, even with purchasing the subscription. You’re not able to see whose profiles you have liked, only profiles you have discarded. Also once you do start messaging someone the setup is very basic. If they send you anything, such as a link to their social media profile you’re not able to copy and paste the link. It could definitely use some improvements. ### 2/5 — Does not match preferences *2025-07-22* This app is user friendly, however, it does not match your preferences. Second how the heck are you going to charge 30 bucks a month for an app that has just started and has 5 people on it to pick from. I’d recommend going towards a more add based app if you’re really worried about revenue. Although if you’re actually concerned with church people having a shot at love then 30 bucks a month is gonna turn a lot of people off to this. Nevertheless great idea. ### 2/5 — Stuck on Profile Picture Review *2025-02-28* It’s a wonderful idea, but I can’t seem to get past the part where they have to review my profile picture. Perhaps it’s a small team, and that is why it is taking so long. Either way, it has been almost 24 hrs, and I still haven’t received a notification yet. **Developer response:** Sammi.am - Thanks for the feedback, your picture review is independent of your registration. You must go through the full registration process. When you upload a photo, video, click ok and the next button should pop up on bottom right. Hang in there with us...the app will get better. ### 1/5 — Too expensive for an app that does not work *2025-02-12, version 2.3* This app has SO MANY GLITCHES IT IS NOT FAIR THEY MADE ME PAY $29.99 and when I click on someone who likes me, it doesn’t work. When I could actually click on it, it says that a female liked me!!! The filter options do not work. I was recently told their pricing decreased, so decided to give them a try again... but only to realize even with the decreased pricing ($10/month) literally EVERYTHING is behind that paywall. you can’t view full profiles, or even message without paying. I love the concept of an Apostolic dating app as in my area (and state!) there are few and far between for my age group, but having to pay for basic features is a little bizarre. I’d understand if you got like “view who likes you” or “redo” on an accidental swipe, or “boost your profile” etc with the sub fee… but just basics? Might as well slap a fee onto downloading the app, and then making the features available. I’d think after seeing multiple complaints of this that the developers would consider changing this, maybe in the future but until then I’m deleting my profile. 😮🤷🏻‍♀️ ### 1/5 — Why *2026-03-08* This app is a genuine dumpster fire of an app, support is non existent as well you get likes that you can even see on top of the preferences you have legit pulls up no one. I get the attempt but let’s get a real update for this please. ### 1/5 — Can’t set up account *2026-01-10* i’ve been trying to get my account set up, but once I get past the questions it tells me “name field is required.” I have all the information filled out, and I can’t move past that. I’m disappointed with that. ### 1/5 — Paywall of Doom *2025-09-09, version 3.4.3* Many months ago it was $29.99 for a subscription of a month. And now it’s $9.99. That’s totally fine! However, now EVERYTHING is behind a paywall. I can no longer see the full profile of someone, I can no longer swipe after a certain amount. And to go with that, it kept glitching and making me reswipe the same people if I accidentally tapped on another tab, limiting me even more. I hate that I have to even so much as pay to chat! Please make that part free! There is no point of using an app if all you get to do is stare at a paywall. There’s no freedom and everything being limited is frustrating. It is a great opportunity, but since the launch more and more things went behind the paywall. You can no longer see part of people’s profiles anymore. The latest thing is now there is a swipe limit. It’s not a daily thing because I’ve tried multiple days to see if it refreshes. Logging out and even deleting the app and redownloading. It’s a limit for the whole use of the app. You only get so many swipes before you have to pay to see more. I can no longer see profiles at all. It is a great way to meet/find apostolic singles. I do hope more people choose to join! It is easy to use. After trying other apps, this one is very affordable. You can use the app for free to match and send messages to your matches. Unlike other apps, when using this one for free you are made aware of who likes your profile. You can simply go back through the profiles available to you and find the person who liked your profile. I give this app 5 stars because it is one of the few apps I’ve been on that allows you to have a great experience for free. If you do want to pay per month, it is as low as $9.99. Thank you for this platform! ### 5/5 — Trust the process *2025-10-06* I truly believe this app is one of the safest places for Apostolic Christians to meet and connect. It can be discouraging at times to see how many people are on here, but trust the process — it’s worth it. I’ve recently started a relationship through this app, and I’m excited to see where it goes. I’m also genuinely grateful for the platform itself. But with realistic expectation *2025-02-15* First: I am reviewing this as an apostolic and as someone who personally knows the owner and those developing it, all of the negative reviews that have been posted this far were from before the app even launched, you could download it to get a feel for it but it didn’t officially launch until Feb 14th 2025, there is a two week FULLY FREE TRIAL at launch so you’re not even forced to purchase anything to match with someone, which dating apps DO NOT DO, that’s a big deal Secondly: A dating app this clean, refined, professionally developed with a modern UI for single apostolics DOES NOT EXIST and is veryyyy ambitious, I expect this app to actually do extremely well! And if the team at SAMe continue to market and engage with the apostolic community as they have been of recent I can only see this app performing BETTER with time, but I’m also realistic, something this new and innovative will not be perfect at launch, and I encourage people to report and help build this app! It’s desperately needed in this day & time. But it’s frustrating that there are still so many bugs & glitches. I’ve talked to some friends who have the app and they have experienced the same problems continually. Once this app has been refined of all that— it has the potential to exponentially continue to grow as we normalize this in the apostolic culture. As it is— I still remain because — yolo right. 😅 ### 3/5 — Update soon? *2025-12-04* Will this app ever get an update? It’s a good concept but it feels super buggy and some of the features like looking at a profile just simply doesn’t work. Would love for it to get an update! ### 3/5 — Login and Subscription glitches. *2025-08-25* I downloaded this and even bought the basic subscription which was $10 a month, not bad. However once I got through some swipes it began telling me there were no potential matches for my preferences. So naturally, I decided to log out and log back in. But unfortunately it said I had no account. I then go back through the whole process of signing back up with the same email which worked.
