SinglesAroundMe (SAM) New York is a hugely popular social discovery mobile dating app designed for New Yorkers. 

Spontaneous, serendipitous meetings are exciting and they remind us of moments when great romances begin! We hope that we can connect you with someone special soon.

- Easily swipe through user profiles and engage those that interest you.
- Meet users from 1-100 miles of your present location using "SAM" search.
- Travelling someplace soon, use "Destination" search to meet and arrange dates in advance.
- "Like" or "dislike" people and keep a fresh list of only those people who    interest you.
- See who has "liked" you and connect with your "mutual likes".
- Send "winks" and "messages" to people that interest you locally
- Keep track of all conversations in the message section.
- Check "New Users" that have recently joined in your area.
- 100% location-based, 100% GPS dating.
- Check-In and update your new location when you wish. Choose when to "show", "hide" or "shift" your location on the Last Check-In display. 
- Control how you wish to receive messages by notification, email or both.
- Only allow users to send you messages from a pre-selected distance of you.
- New byChance feature introduces you to singles that you crossed paths with throughout your day.

Nudity is strictly prohibited and users can monitor and report any bad behaviour. 

My name is Chris Klotz, and I founded SinglesAroundMe – SAM. I met my wife by chance skiing in the French Alps. I know that these kinds of chance encounters can lead to great happiness, love and wild romance, but I also know there is a bit of luck needed in finding and meeting the right one. I hope that SinglesAroundMe provides you with these opportunities and that luck, wherever you might be in the world. I know that my single friends are loving the app and based on feedback from users worldwide, others are too. 

You can choose to subscribe to our premium features called SAM Plus for $20 per month; $15 a month for three months or $10 a month for six months which offers you unlimited messaging; access to "Destination Search" which allows you to search for singles further than 100 miles away; See who "Liked you" and who checked you out!

Note that SAM Plus is optional; If you choose to subscribe your iTunes Account will be charged once you confirm your purchase and cannot be cancelled once confirmed. This is an auto-renewing purchase that can be turned off by going to your iTunes Account Settings after purchase; If you do not do this before 24 hours of the end of the subscription period you will be charged the same amount to cover the next period once you are within those 24 hours of the end of the period.
