But now I am forced to use a Singapore mobile phone number for 2FA. Since I am overseas on a long term basis, I do not have a Singapore mobile number. I can’t use the app anymore. 2FA is very common. Face ID, and fingerprint as the second factor authentication works fine on other apps. The app should have other authenticator options since SMS is prone to social engineering risk. When I use it on a laptop, it allows me to enter my overseas email but keep asking for Singapore number. And one cannot proceed with updated. And this is silly I can go to HDB site with ability to log in Singpass. And Singpass Will not allow me in via this apps . They also keep making you reset your password. This is not balancing security over convenience, it’s just plain stupidity from the management team. ### 1/5 — The app keeps logging me out and it's so annoying *2024-09-23, version 24.0.3* The app just logged me out automatically if it hasn't been used for sometime. I had to iodate with ICA and CPF before I left Singapore and they will guide you. The best for some that can’t log on I suggest to call them directly. I did even if I had to pay international call.
