## What is Sini?

Sini is an Istanbul travel guide: 600+ places to eat, 100+ landmarks, 47 must-try dishes, 25 ready-made days and 19 practical guides. Every place is hand-picked, with no paid listings.

Made in Istanbul, for the traveler who wants to eat like they know someone here. Now in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian and Arabic.

Istanbul has thousands of restaurants. You only have a few days.

Sini is a hand-picked guide to the places actually worth your meals, with the reason behind every recommendation.

ASK PASHA

Ask a question the way you would ask a friend, in your own language:

“Where should I eat tonight near me?”
“What is kaymak?”
“Is Topkapı open on Tuesdays?”

Pasha answers in a few sentences using Sini’s own curated guide and attaches relevant places so you can tap straight through. If Sini does not have enough information, Pasha tells you.

WHAT YOU GET

• Restaurants: 600+ hand-picked places across Istanbul. See what is open right now and discover places that match your taste.

• Sini Routes: 22 ready-made day routes and 3 multi-day plans, with the right places to eat on the way. Add a whole day to your trip in one tap. Sultanahmet Classics is free; the others come with Istanbul Pass.

• Istanbul Passport: stamp every restaurant, landmark and Must-Try dish you visit, then share your trip as an Istanbul Wrapped card. Comes with Istanbul Pass.

• Your Taste: Pick a few cravings, swipe through some dishes, and Sini uses that to put your kind of places first throughout the app.

• Nearby: See what is open around you on a map, with restaurant details available without leaving the map.

• Historical Places: 100 landmarks with a short story, what to look for, practical notes, and The Sini Connection: good places to eat within walking distance.

• Tools: Live exchange rates and weather, a taximeter check, tip calculator, metro map, important numbers, and a speaking helper for ordering.

• Search: Find any place, dish or landmark in your language, with names and neighborhoods as locals write them.

NO TOURIST TRAPS

Sini is built to help you avoid places designed mainly to catch passing visitors.

We also highlight common warning signs that can cost travelers the most: sidewalk hosts, photo menus, unpriced fish, euro-only prices, and similar tourist-trap patterns.

ISTANBUL PASS

Free to download. Try 3 places, 3 landmarks, 3 dishes, one route and three Ask Pasha questions free; the practical tools and guides are always free. Istanbul Pass, a one-time purchase, opens everything for good, and with Family Sharing you can share it with up to 5 family members.
