The issue with this game is its support system as I was able to transfer my account from one phone to another via a link to my Apple ID. But when I just upgraded my phone this most recent time the game refused to connect to my Apple ID to transfer my account and when I went through the account recovery system they demanded that I remember all the items, characters,and currency I had as well as other things. Since I don’t have photographic memory I provided the best info I could and they did not allow me to recover my account. ### 4/5 — Love it, but here’s the problem *2022-09-02, version 35.0.0* The one thing that I love about this is the story aspect and lore given to the game, but here are some problems with it: when you have to go to a specific grimnoire, then they don’t load it immediately or it begins to crash on you. Whenever you try to log back into any old account that you have, then they expect you to remember everything from that old account even if you don’t have The memory span of that old account, they should also provide a link to the website, but I don’t think that the website will be able to help with retrieving any information that you have since they only require you to contact support via email. so long story short, I like it but there are some problems that need to be addressed when it comes to retrieving information with all the counts and still some bugs that need to be fixed with grimores ### 5/5 — Great Dark Fantasy RPG particularly for Women *2022-06-03, version 31.0.0* Beautiful art and interesting warped story. I love dark fairy tales done in the way Japan does them. Thank you character artist and thank you Yoko Taro. I can’t wait to unlock more classes and more characters and art. I have been admiring the designs for years back when it wasn’t available globally. Very glad to have the chance to play it now and look at the beautiful L2D characters up close. Design wise it feels a lot like Odin Sphere and other Vanillaware games. Gameplay feels a lot like Granblue, which I also love. I think this style of game, with dark fairy tale content is particularly appealing to women, so please give it a try, and don’t forget to do the first Grimoire roll multiple times until you get what you want! (Come to me, Cleric Alice!) ### 5/5 — amazing game :DD *2022-05-15, version 30.2.0* the thing that dragged me into this game was the kakegurui event and my online mother!! (basically my online friend who i see as a mother figure) the game is overall very good and i love the characters and their stories!!! but the only flaw is the difficulty of each level :( i understand that as you reach higher levels the difficulties increase but that’s the reason i’m starting to play this game less and less :( i’m going to still rate this 5 stars tho because i’m probably just dumb and don’t know how to beat the levels!! :D ### 4/5 — “app”? *2021-12-13, version 22.1.0* It’s been my first few hours in this game and I’ve been sent to write a review after pulling banner’s featured characters with first try. With the atmosphere that captivated me from the start (I even kept listening to title screen music for many minutes) and such generosity, naturally I should give a positive review. I mean I still have not hit the paywall. But the truth is, I did hit another wall already. And that’s maker’s wall... .Firstly with auto-friend-join system that makes it totally unnecessary to touch the screen for anything other than “next” button and the other is those Legendary gears I was gifted with first few missions The game couldn’t kill my initial experience and enthusiasm to improve more... . I mean even if there are places that I need to do the battle alone, at the start, it would’ve been much nicer to taste improvement rather than being carried by the game. I hope things exceed my current understanding and for that, I don’t hesitate to give the “app” 4 stars since it definitely has a catching atmosphere. ### 1/5 — Boring and Predatory End Game *2021-09-12, version 17.0.1* Seriously, don’t bother spending a single dime on this game. The gameplay is repetitive, simple, and boring and cannot possibly justify the amount of spending you would need to do in order to maintain a position in a high tier guild. The PvP is novel for the first few months, however, it requires a daily 20 minute commitment at your desired scheduled time. Beyond that ,at a certain level of PvP you can find yourself in an odd position where you cannot have proper competition because your guild has literally spent a collective estimate of $100k USD and so no one will or can fight against you. You are effectively spending money not to play the game in this situation. ### 5/5 — First Impressions *2021-04-27, version 10.2.0* Just started today and the story is very original and immersive even if the gameplay is the same typical rpg card game you find anywhere. It’s been bug free so far so that’s a plus compared to many I’ve had the misfortune of playing. All in all if you want to enjoy an amazing narrative game you should definitely check this game out. ### 5/5 — Beautifully designed game *2021-02-05, version 7.1.0* I love this game and ive only been playing for about 13 days . Its very pretty and interesting . I sit on the edge of my , lets be honest here , bed while playing because i cant wait to find out more of the characters stories . The only thing i will say is that its a little bit too hard to get a new ‘class’ but its fun to try and the anticipation is great . Keep up the great work Devs . ### 5/5 — Fantastic game *2020-08-31, version 2.4.0* This is really one of my most favorite mobile games right now and enhanced by the nier event since I just love everything from nier to automata and during this event I saw that many things were grimoir locked and stuff like that and well it made me realize that if you want to even get for example a 10x grimoir and still like that you’ll have to save up a ton of gems at the beginning you got gems at a decent pace and it really felt rewarding I just wish there were other ways to get gems since rn the only real way to get gems is to join the colloseum but you only get gems at certain days and the events just go by without really getting a chance and I know it’s a free game so you have to incentivize buying gems but I just wish there were more ways to obtain a good amount of gems to participate in these awesome events and things like that and I’d really love to see some new ways to earn gems for free to make it that much more rewarding and awesome to get an event character from a grimoir and also I wish the data transfer wasn’t at the beginning since I just lost my account because of it and it’s super frustrating ### 1/5 — Deceptive monetization *2020-08-26, version 2.3.0* SINoALICE is a beautiful game by Yoko Taro that I’d love to enjoy. The music is fantastic and the atmosphere is excellent. That said, the presentation of the microtransactions is deceptive, with some “step” banners implying that the featured product is guaranteed in 5 attempts … but if you dig into (optional) menus, you find that “featured” is a term that means “The item that gives the character you want, but also two or so other ‘booby prizes’.” A casual player who clicks through can easily believe that the character they’re hoping to acquire is guaranteed, and be let down. The information is portrayed in such a way that it is either deliberately deceptive, and therefore predatory, or the result of negligent failure to communicate expected results to the player. Furthermore, the rates on the game’s gacha are abysmal, putting other competing games to shame. The overall SSR rate is 3%, but many of the results in the SSR pool are just simple weapons, diluting the results many players care about exclusively — new characters and weapons — to a fraction of that value.
