Why would I want to constantly search for recipes online and read through a bunch of color commentary all because I can’t remember if my favorite recipe calls for 1/2 oz lime juice or 3/4. The app looks great and is very clean/user friendly. Its whimsical style is pleasing, but the little touches make it fantastic. The way you enter your ingredient inventory and see what you can make, and what other ingredients you need, is really smooth. Build your “bar” with the bottles you have at home and get suggestions for classic cocktails based on what you have. This is a great way to find new favorites and experiment with things you haven’t seen before. Plus, add your own recipes, or build off of existing drinks with your own spin. I got this earlier tonight and tried 3 drinks I didn’t know I could make from ingredients I already had. 2/3 are now going to be in my constant rotation. Needs the ability to search for custom cocktails based on ingredients. Needs the ability to add custom ingredients. Without these two features, this app will never reach its fullest potential. ### 1/5 — Not actually a free app *2025-01-07, version 1.2.2* If you’re looking for a “free” cocktail app, this is not the app for you. I wish the developer would have kept their promise of adding multiple new recipes every month but it seems they have stopped doing that. Few UI issues remain as well. Just made it so easy. I used the Beta version and I’m very impressed with the progress- great value for $5. Well worth it! **Developer response:** That’s awesome!
