## What is Sip?

You are standing in an unfamiliar cafe. Eleven drinks on the board, three with names you have never seen, and someone waiting behind you.

Sip is for that moment.

Photograph the menu. Every drink on it comes back ranked for your taste, with a sentence explaining why - which flavours it matched, and which one might put you off. The cafe does not need to have been reviewed by anybody. You can be the first person who ever opened Sip there.

A REASON, NOT JUST A NUMBER
Every pick says what it matched: "You lean nutty and sweet - and pistachio is a flavour you keep coming back to." And when something cuts against you, it says so: "It's floral, which you usually pass on." You can disagree with it. That is the point.

IT LEARNS FROM WHAT YOU ORDER
Eight quick questions at setup give it a starting point. After that, rate what you drink in two taps - loved it, good, meh, no. Four or five drinks is enough for the rankings to start sounding like you.

FIND YOUR USUAL, ANYWHERE
Mark a drink as your usual, and Sip will point at the closest thing to it on any menu you scan.

FILTERS THAT MATCH REAL DECISIONS
Iced or hot. Something lighter, for when it is 5pm and you still want a cup. Safe, balanced or adventurous, depending on the mood you are in.

A DIARY THAT REMEMBERS
Every drink you log, where you had it, and how it landed - so you stop forgetting the good ones.

YOUR TASTE STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
Your diary, your ratings and the profile built from them live on your device and are never uploaded. Ranking runs on the phone: offline, instantly, and the same every time. The only thing that leaves is the menu photo itself, at the moment you take it - it is read, the text comes back, and the image is not kept.

SIP PLUS
Five menu scans a month are free. Plus makes them unlimited. Everything else - logging, ranking, the diary, your taste profile - is free and unlimited for everyone.

Sip cannot determine allergens. Transcription is automatic and flavours are inferred from drink names, so always check with the cafe if something matters.

Sip Plus is an auto-renewing subscription, sold monthly (1 month) or annually (12 months) at the price shown in the app. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation and renews at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings.
