Some of the other apps not only can you hear the siren, but you can hear the sound of the motors of the emergency vehicles, like someone was standing on a sidewalk tape, recording a firetruck flying by. Your app is clean and is all you hear is the siren, not the motor of the vehicle. The sounds are very clean and very loud.
