## What is Sisco's Bass Tuner?

Sisco's BassTuner is a free bass tuner app built for acoustic and electric four-string basses. Tune automatically, select strings manually, choose popular alternate tunings, create and save your own custom tunings, play continuous drone notes, and check bass intonation in one focused app.

TUNE YOUR WAY
• Auto-Advance Mode: Play the indicated string and the app listens through your device's microphone. When the string reaches the selected in-tune range, the tuner automatically advances to the next string.
• Manual Mode: Tap any tuning key, string post, or string to hear its recorded bass reference note, then tune by ear or use the live pitch display.
• Four-String Bass: Start with standard E–A–D–G tuning, with large pearl note letters and clear sharp/flat indicators.

ALTERNATE AND CUSTOM TUNINGS
Quickly select commonly used bass tunings, including:
• Standard
• Drop D
• Whole Step Down
• Drop C
• BEAD
• Tenor Bass

Create your own four-string tuning presets and save them for later. A half-step-down option can lower every target note by one semitone, making it easy to use E-flat tuning or transpose an entire saved setup.

DRONE NOTE PLAYER
Play a continuous reference note for tuning by ear, ear training, vocal or instrumental pitch practice, and improvising over a steady tone. Select the note you need and let it continue while you tune or practice.

BASS INTONATION CHECK
Use the included intonation tool to compare an open-string pitch with the same string played at the 12th fret. Capture both readings and compare them to evaluate whether the fretted note is sharp, flat, or aligned with the open string—useful when checking a bass setup.

ADVANCED TUNER SETTINGS
Personalize how the tuner responds:
• Adjust the A4 reference frequency
• Set microphone sensitivity
• Choose the in-tune window in cents
• Fine-tune detection behavior for your instrument and environment

ANIMATED WALLPAPERS AND PHOTO BACKGROUNDS
Choose from 27 included wallpapers with silent living-photo animation, including tropical beaches, forests, ocean scenes, and music rooms. Or select your own image from your photo library. Adjust the background blur for a cleaner depth-of-field effect while keeping tuning information easy to read. Selected photo-library images stay on your device.

FREE TUNING AND FULL UNLOCK
Auto and Manual tuning are available in the free version through ad-supported tuning sessions. An optional one-time Full Unlock purchase removes advertising and unlocks alternate and custom tunings, half-step-down tuning, drone notes, advanced controls, wallpapers, photo-library backgrounds, and the intonation tool.

ADVERTISING AND OTHER-APP PROMOTIONS
The free version includes Google-served advertisements and house promotions for other apps by Wade Sisco. In Settings > App Info, “Check Out Our Other Apps” displays promotional thumbnails linking to those apps' separate App Store pages. These promotions may feature Sisco's Bass Trainer, Sisco's Guitar Trainer, Sisco's Guitar Tuner, Galaxy AR, and GlowStickGo. Their features are available in those separate apps, not within Bass Tuner. Full Unlock removes advertising; the optional other-app gallery remains available in App Info.

Microphone access enables live pitch detection. Reference notes remain available if microphone access is unavailable. No sign-in is required.

Sisco's BassTuner gives bass players a practical tuning tool for everyday practice, alternate tunings, custom tuning presets, drone-note practice, and basic intonation checks.
