### 4/5 — Awesome but one quirk

*2026-07-09, version 1.2*

So I’ll be right before the white mountain top and then 💥💥boom!💥💥 it rolls right back down the moment I hit white no matter what I do to get to the top! Other than this small frustrating quirk the game is absolutely perfect In all ways. And honestly the fact that I fall at white tip of the mountain might be my fault but I don’t think so. And don’t take this review the wrong way because I’m just trying to get my bug fixed. If you want the “game” totally get it! It’s awesome I just am I having a problem in mine! Any way awesome game minus the quirk of mine! THANKS SO MUCH TO WHOEVER MADE THIS “GAME!!”!!

### 4/5 — Good but could be improved

*2026-04-14, version 1.2*

Good, simple, polished experience. I wish I could listen to music at the same time though. I tried muting sound and it still wouldn’t allow Spotify to play

### 4/5 — fun …..ig

*2025-06-10, version 1.2*

you guys are weird…. and there not gonna add that 🙄

### 4/5 — Good but hard

*2025-05-15, version 1.2*

Good but extremely hard to beat it gets to close to his head

### 4/5 — YOU GUYS ARE INSANE

*2025-01-04, version 1.2*

The people leaving reviews are insane what the heck, this is an Ancient Greek mythological myth, that we can experience is the advanced digital life we’ve come to live. Why would you want to have sex with a rock???? Anyway, I think this is a wonderful idea,

### 4/5 — what am I doing….

*2024-11-26, version 1.2*

it is not for fun, just to relax like knocking at a wooden fish

### 4/5 — A little bit boring

*2024-11-01, version 1.2*

### 5/5 — Cool game maybe some upgrades to help push

*2024-09-14, version 1.2*

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2024-09-05, version 1.2*

The negative reviews just don’t understand. It’s literally pushing a rock up a hill, the description tells you exactly what to expect. You are Sisyphus and the game perfectly captures that.

### 5/5 — One must imagine Sisyphus happy

*2024-08-23, version 1.2*

It does as I expected, as all should expect, it puts you through misery, knowing that you are the failure, you are the one who couldn’t keep pushing. But it gives you the feeling of being Sisyphus, you have one goal, one purpose, you know your purpose, and even if it is to try and try again, to never truely succeed, would you rather have no purpose at all? Or would you have one given by the gods themselves. One must imagine Sisyphus happy, this game helped me understand that.

### 5/5 — Amazingtastic!

*2024-08-23, version 1.2*

Note: The title is a combination of the word Amazing and Fantastic.
Yeah, this game gives you exactly what it says in the description. I know right? Most games don’t do that. Anyways, I would recommend this game if you’re in a car ride or if you have no internet but I just downloaded this game because I have seen countless amounts of Sisyphus memes this year and because I thought it would probably be fun to see a man forced for all eternity to roll a boulder up a hill only for it to fall down and see all his efforts broken for the 100th time. But in the myths Sisyphus has no obligation to roll the boulder up the hill, he just does so because he actually thinks he can do it. Anyways, download this game.

### 4/5 — Gud

*2024-08-19, version 1.2*

I’m a simple man. I see a game about rocks, I play it

### 5/5 — So much action

This is an amazing, action packed game with lots of thrills, when you finally beat it for the first time it exhilarating, definitely worth every cent I paid

### 5/5 — Great game

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Force pauses music

*2026-06-08, version 1.2*

The game forces my music to pause even with all audio in the app muted. unplayable if it takes complete control of my phone.

### 1/5 — Trash

*2026-02-10, version 1.2*

Worst platformer I have ever seen. The amount of tapping and patience required is daunting and meaningless, just like that idiot pushing a boulder.

### 1/5 — Boring

*2025-04-20, version 1.2*

I don’t want to be rude but this game is way too simple and I got bored. Please make it more exciting.

### 1/5 — Way too hard

*2024-11-27, version 1.2*

Make it easier please it's so hard because I'm trying to push the boulder up the mountain and put very easy Easy normal medium hard very hard to make it easier

### 1/5 — Not fun

*2024-07-20, version 1.2*

Read above

### 1/5 — Stupid

*2024-05-15, version 1.2*

Most people acknowledge the game isn’t fun. I find it extremely boring. I don’t know why people are so into the way the legend works and the “meaning” behind it. It’s supposed to be a game which consequentially should be fun or at the very least entertaining. This is neither. Don’t waste your time.

### 1/5 — Boring

*2024-04-22, version 1.2*

I seriously can’t believe this game exists, it is so boring.

### 1/5 — Posible Worst Game Ever

*2024-03-23, version 1.2*

This game is the boredness game I ever played sorry devs but seriously way is apple recommending me to play this and waist my time

### 1/5 — Nothing to game, to simple?

*2024-03-22, version 1.2*

The story was enough, the game plays out the story with such simplicity that well, just draw two pictures on a piece of paper and you’ve played it. I don’t get it.

### 1/5 — Terrible Game

*2024-01-02*

This game is horrid beyond imagination. If you value any semblance of your sanity, stay away from the this soul-crushing and truly awful game. Was not it enough to curse Sisyphus? Do you also want to submit to torture, to eternal pain at the hands of the most arduous gameplay ever known to man? The developer of this game is a reincarnation of Zeus, twisted beyond words and now seeking more victims. Sisyphus may have been punished for cheating death, but this game will surely make you seek it.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — ????

*2026-06-04, version 1.2*

What do people mean sex update im scared

### 5/5 — Yay.

*2026-01-13, version 1.2*

Literally just pushing a rock 👍

### 5/5 — Good ‘game’

*2025-12-18, version 1.2*

The best part about this app is how absolutely not fun it is. In a modern world where many struggle with phone addiction, the unstoppable urge to open social media right before bedtime, or to indulge in a few swipes to fill any moment of free time really, it almost feels good to force yourself to open up this app instead. Call it a variety of sadism, but this app gives me the option to punish myself for my desire to indulge, and tasting the eternal torment of Sisyphos teaches me every day that there is another reality where the release of serotonin in the brain is not a cheap commodity, but rather something earned only through blood sweat and tears, as it should be. This is not a game, but rather it is the exact of opposite of every other app available on the market. There are even apps that market themselves as alternatives to social media, but require a subscription to interact with them for more than ten minutes a day. Sisyphos does not pretend to provide you with anything except a free, stoic alternative to stimulation on demand, and for that it has my respect.

### 5/5 — why push

*2025-08-10, version 1.2*

me push rock, rock fall, me sad, me push rock again, me know me won't succeed, but me push rock anyways,me not enjoy it, but me like it, me recomend

### 5/5 — Not fun but very good for mental health

*2025-06-26, version 1.2*

This game feels very frustrating but definitely helped me cope with my short temper

### 5/5 — Peak game design

*2025-05-27, version 1.2*

This game isn’t supposed to be fun, and that’s why it’s enjoyable. It’s supposed to be torturous, and it’s exactly that, just like the Greek myth intended it to be. The game will make you feel like you’re making progress, but one small slip, and you’re done. failure is devastating, as it should be in a game like this. Losing can be incredibly frustrating, and you’ll likely give up. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Really helpful!

*2025-05-15, version 1.2*

Really cool light game, I tend to go overboard on games. This is manageable not super stressful and helps me make unconscious connections to my hearing to reaction A+

### 5/5 — It delivers perfectly.

*2025-05-05, version 1.2*

Sisyphos is a fantastic game, one which does everything it claims to. It is tedious, boring, and repetitive. A perfect representation of the story of Sisyphus. The art style is plain, but pretty, the movement is janky at first, but can be mastered, and the sound design is pretty good. My favorite part is that it’s something to do while I watch YouTube, the YouTube screen fits perfectly above the game and is great for ADHD. 5/5, worth at least trying

### 5/5 — Satisfying way to pass time

*2025-02-02, version 1.2*

I often play this while commuting on a train or bus. It isn't interrupted by the movement, and lets the journey slip by. Sisyphus's cycle up and down is meditative. I can see how this may not be for some people as there is no "winning" but I enjoy it.

### 5/5 — Upsex date when?

*2024-11-23, version 1.2*

Me When
Sex.
Sex update when the me I am
