## What is SITE DIM?

SITE DIM turns your iPhone or iPad into a quantity takeoff tool for contractors, estimators and builders. Point the camera, tap the corners, and get accurate measurements in seconds — in feet-inches and metric, side by side.

WHAT YOU CAN MEASURE
• Walls, floors and ceilings — area, perimeter, openings subtracted
• Roofs — slope and facade segments, total roof area
• Linear runs — baseboards, trim, moldings, with an AR tape measure
• Lots and terrain — area, excavation and fill volumes
• Concrete — slabs, footings and walls, with a ready-to-send order
• LiDAR Scan — scan a full room and get walls, floor and ceiling at once

BUILT FOR THE JOB SITE
• Feet-inches to 1/16" and metric on every dimension
• Square, circle, half-moon or free-shape capture
• Corner squaring to 90° and 180°
• Automatic flashlight in dark spaces
• Works on every iPhone with iOS 17+; LiDAR improves precision on Pro models

EXPORT AND SHARE
• Plan view images and PDF reports
• DXF files that open in AutoCAD and other CAD software
• Full summary table in PDF, ready to print or email

Your data stays on your device: no account, no subscription, no data collection.

Built in Québec by a general contractor with 25 years of construction experience — not just by developers.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6 — 2026-10-23

• Now available in English for the U.S. App Store
• Large-area LiDAR scans no longer stop on their own
• Linear survey: new AR measuring tape between points
• Survey points stay locked in place
• Flashlight stays on continuously in low light
• SITE DIM logo and QR code on all exports
• Security improvements on every input field

### 1.5 — 2026-10-15

What's new in version 1.5:
• Improved LiDAR scan: scan large areas without interruption (the scan continues in portions until you tap Done), scan several levels with a running total, and add a staircase footprint to the floor. Results are shown as wall / floor / ceiling totals, with a 3D plan you can zoom (pinch, double-tap for full screen) and export.
• Linear survey: a 2" yellow measuring tape, graduated at real scale (inches and millimeters), unrolls in augmented reality between your points.
• More stable survey points: each point stays fixed exactly where it was placed, even over long distances.
• Flashlight: stays on continuously in low light, without flickering.
• Company profile: add your name, address, phone, website and logo, shown at the top of your exported reports.
• SITE DIM logo and QR code at the bottom of every export (PDF, PNG, DXF).
• Main menu: realistic measuring tape in inches and millimeters, calibrated with a credit card.
• Various fixes and improvements.

### 1.4.2 — 2026-10-05

- Concrete takeoff: slabs, footings and pilasters are now measured exactly like a floor survey (square/rectangle, circle, half-moon or full trace), then a thickness — measured in AR or typed in manually.
- New top-down slab plans: every side is dimensioned and the total area shows right on the plan.
- Survey summary and concrete order: PDF export redesigned as a clear, line-by-line list, easy to read when printed.
- Corner squaring (90°/180°) now available on terrain surveys and on a concrete slab's full trace.
- Improved on-screen markers while measuring, across every survey type.
- Stability and accuracy fixes.

### 1.4.1 — 2026-10-01

App Store listing update

No changes to the app itself — updated iPad screenshots on the App
Store listing to better represent the large-screen experience.

### 1.4 — 2026-09-26

Improvement: clearer targeting feedback

While taking a measurement, a text now clearly shows the aiming
status: "Waiting for red target" until a surface is detected, then
"Select survey point +" once ready to capture a point.
