## What is Site Surveyor?

Save Location pictures with a reference map denoting the pictures locations.

Step 1. Bring up a satellite map of location. Name "Site Name".

Step 2. Drag a picture icon/button to location on map where picture is being taken from.

Step 3. Hold down button and take picture.

Step 4. Pictures are uploaded to Dropbox folder named  "Site Name".... files are named "sitename_1.jpg"

Step 5. After all pictures are taken, save Screen Capture denoting photo locations. The screen capture along with a google earth placemark (kml) will upload to dropbox.


Requires a DropBox account.

Couldn't use the app as it wants you to use Dropbox. Very disappointing.

Photo List: Keep and Store a list of Photo Suffixes. Launch camera from the list and Photos will be named: SiteName_Suffix.jog and uploaded to your dropbox. We've also added the ability to add a photo name prefix, in this case files would be saved as: SiteName_Prefix_Suffix.jpg.

The names you create are stored within the apps defaults and will be there even if you upgrade the app.

### 2.0 — 2014-12-04

We've added a Cell Data Usage Failsafe. Cellular Data is expensive, our new feature allows for remote picture taking and then allowing for uploading of files when you return to office or any Wi-Fi Connection. The Photos you take will stay on the phone until you delete them. Nothing worse than having a picture not saved.

Adding Pictures, Note and Documents to any existing site folder. Navigate Surveys to your Site, select Add Photo, Add Note (pdf) or Scan a document. 

Site Surveyor now no longer is a data hog. By deleting archived files, users can manage how much storage is used by Site Surveyor.
