## What is SiteAgent?

Manage your GitHub website with SiteAgent. Describe a change, inspect the proposed edits, preview your site, and commit when you are ready.

A simpler dashboard keeps your sites, assistant, previews, and recent work within reach. Browse files, review diffs, manage branches and pull requests, and configure supported deployment services.

Choose a supported cloud AI provider using your own account or API key, or download a compatible on-device model on supported hardware. Cloud requests ask for sharing permission; routing services may forward content to the selected model provider. Provider charges are separate.

Free access includes one site, one eligible provider you choose, and eight assistant sessions per calendar month. SiteAgent Super unlocks additional sites and providers and removes the app session limit. Monthly, yearly, and lifetime purchases are available; Apple shows current prices and any eligible offers before purchase.

Optional iCloud sync shares supported conversations and settings between your devices. Credentials use Apple Keychain. Local model inference runs on your device; GitHub, previews, downloads, and other connected services may still need the internet.

Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in your Apple Account. Lifetime is a one-time purchase.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0 — 2026-10-14

In 2.0: a direct dashboard, neutral glass appearance, and a new app icon. This update also improves workspace safety, credential replacement, iCloud status, MCP permissions, preview security, and monthly usage counts.

### 1.9.1 — 2026-07-18

SiteAgent 1.14 — Workspace + Connect Website Wizard

• Settings is now Workspace-first: Website, Connection Status, Assistant, and Deployment cards up front
• Advanced holds repository details, secrets, and developer tools; Appearance / Behavior stay below
• New 4-step Connect Website wizard: GitHub → pick a repo → connect hosting → choose AI
• Deployment simple mode: connect with a deploy hook (Workers) without drowning in tokens
• Detection no longer pretends hosting is “Connected”; Verify Connection only when needed
• Setup CTAs from Home, Sites, and Chat open the wizard or the right Workspace card

### 1.9 — 2026-07-17

SiteAgent 1.13 — New Look and Better Previews

• New grey default app icon, with Original, Black, and Beige alternatives in Settings
• New cloud-and-globe launch animation that follows the selected accent
• Slate is now the default accent, with remaining sage color leaks removed
• Added Colorless Clear Glass guidance to onboarding
• Corrected Mobile and Tablet previews so responsive sites render at their true device viewport before being scaled to fit
• Improved streaming chat follow behavior while preserving manual scroll position

### 1.8 — 2026-07-14

• A complete native Liquid Glass redesign with live translucency, wallpaper color bleed, and dynamic system depth.
• Accent colors now flow through the backdrop and glass surfaces.
• Restored full-screen setup layouts across the app.
• Rebuilt the full chat composer as its own readable glass layer, with clearer controls and spacing above the tab bar.
• Improved light and dark mode consistency, layout, and stability.

### 1.7 — 2026-07-08

• The agent can now see your site — it renders your pages with your pending edits to catch layout, accessibility, and runtime issues before you approve a change.
• Live Preview plays videos and animations with inline autoplay.
• Add videos directly from your photo library.
• A warmer first-run setup and an easier-to-read Settings screen.
• Safer approvals: review the exact diff, clearer Approve and Discard actions, and no accidental auto-approvals from a typed message.
• Many design refinements and stability fixes.
