We have so much at my current site that the app will take a dozen GB’s of disc space and roughly 5 hours to get the database downloaded since we are 1000 people using a few starlink connections in a northern remote work camp. Without going into download options and setting “Signed Forms” and “Resource PDF’s” to download on-demand, the app gets nearly unusable. Also I often get notifications saying “you need a newer version of the app to interact with this notification “ ### 3/5 — buggy *2026-03-23* relentlessly crashes. especially when adding photos to forms. no update has fixed it yet. ugh. **Developer response:** Hey there, thank you for reporting this issue. I switched apps to my web browser for a few minutes. When I went back to Site Doc’s, the app had booted me out of my report and when I went back into my report, everything I had just written was erased. The app will also cause my not to use other apps on my phone including the Wi-Fi features. Using this app makes Safty meeting twice as long or more, it’s hard to find documents you need in a timely manner, you can’t access documents if you’re service is poor, or if your battery runs low, if your phone or tablet is too hot or cold. The app constantly glitches, and has caused a lot of downtime! Why would you trust important things like safety and business to something so unreliable? ### 2/5 — Okay at a few things, good at none, terrible for its main purpose. *2024-03-13* The app is terrible. I can’t say how many times I’ve tried to sign a safety meeting or hazard ID, and it just doesn’t show up. You have to follow an external link almost every time, but logging in that way doesn’t work well at all. Why have an app if I need to go through a URL to see hazard ID’s from my own company? ### 1/5 — Too hard to use *2024-02-13* One day it started asking for me to sign in. It won’t accept my email address and I can’t change passwords. Locked out. And I am the boss, 100+. My guys in the workshop got no chance of adopting this if it’s so hard to use. I think best we go back to A4 paper and folders. ### 1/5 — Needs Fixing *2023-05-01* I had to delete and re-install this app and I had no issues prior to deleting it. However, now re-installing this app it is not letting me sign in. It will load for about 5 minutes and then error saying “Unable to Sync: Your device is currently not connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network. Please connect to the internet and try again.” I have been connected to Wi-Fi the whole day. Would also love to sign on with the Face ID deal with the iPhones. They’re always making improvements to their system hearing what the customers want. We like the app functions without reception for remote workers and that everyone has access to our important docs. It easy to use for us older guys and simple enough for construction workers to figure out! If you can text or use any social media- this app will be a breeze! As a safety manager, this streamlines my daily workflow. As a foreman, this provides access to the forms required (no more searching for a pen). As an equipment operator, SiteDocs keeps Ground Disturbance protocols and information at your fingertips! We are an underground telecom company and needed a robust but easy to use incident reporting platform. Site Docs delivered and more. We also got a platform that we could record our inspections and audits. These are then compiled in a way that your safety professionals can easily mine the information needed and use it in creating a positive safety culture. Not only is the app easy to navigate and very intuitive, the Site Docs team went out of their way to help us make sure we got the most out of the use of their product!
