## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Worst App Ever

*2026-07-19*

I would expect an all inclusive private island resort would have a decent app.
Could not pair with room.
Map doesn’t work.
Schedule is not updated and is wrong. There are no descriptions or locations for classes.
The resort and the staff suffer from this terrible app.

### 1/5 — Crashes constantly

*2026-04-01*

This app does not work. Crashes constantly giving error codes. You can’t pull anything up it just shows a blank screen. Impossible to use.

### 1/5 — This app is a stain on the Six Senses brand.

*2026-01-20*

Our stay at the resort in Laamu was amazing. This app was the only sore point. Resort staff are basically developing ad-how workarounds to severe UX shortcomings, which came up several times during our stay.

IHG has a ton of money. They just need to spend a few million to hire real quality PM, UX, and Eng (maybe hire around Silicon Valley?). Stop with the outsourcing.

Otherwise, just get rid of this enormous source of frustration that detracted from our resort experience.

### 1/5 — Poor

*2026-01-07, version 4.69.2*

Doesn't work. What a waste of time, such a frustrating thing to deal with while on holiday. Also why are all your avatars white

### 1/5 — Really stupid

*2025-12-04*

Verify email, phone blah blah! How can I verify my phone it’s out of service in this country ?! Why so complicated?!!! Can’t I just sign up using my name and the room number?!!! I’m here for relax! Not dealing with all your system!!

### 1/5 — App crashes non-stop

*2024-10-17*

Newest update didn’t correct the problem.

**Developer response:** Dear mexicanmutt,
Thank you for letting us know. We’re sorry to hear about your experience, and we’ve taken your feedback on board to help ensure future updates run more smoothly. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding.
Warm regards,
The Six Senses App team

### 1/5 — App doesn’t launch

*2023-06-19*

Connected to the resort, the time you leave the resort and come back it doesn’t work again.
You need to delete and down load again.

### 1/5 — Would be great if it worked

*2022-08-01*

This app has tons of useful information but hardly works. Whenever I open it, it lasts for all of 3 seconds before it crashes. Even the staff at Six Senses Ibiza said they have trouble with this app.

### 1/5 — Won’t allow email verification or app use

*2022-05-29, version 3.98.16*

Sorry Six Senses, but this is broken. In resort hosts say the same. The app knows I’m in my room, somehow, but with 1 email address (typed correctly) I’ve never received a verification message after repeatedly requesting one. I did get a message to my other email when I registered with that, but from the email link the app tells me I need to verify again so I can’t actually access the app. Frustrating and wasted time on a magical holiday.

### 1/5 — Luxury hotels are not good in technology

*2021-09-12, version 3.84.5*

No connection via IHG Rewards account, confirmation email address goes to error page.

## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Streamlining Luxury

*2023-08-27*

The Six Senses app beautifully enhances the world-class hospitality of the Six Senses hotel group. Seamlessly integrating luxury and technology, this app serves as a gateway to the full spectrum of the hotel’s offerings. From effortless reservation bookings to accessing personalized concierge services, the app’s user-friendly interface adds a layer of convenience to the impeccable guest experience. By effortlessly merging high-end amenities with intuitive digital features, the Six Senses app truly embodies the essence of modern luxury and top-tier service.

### 5/5 — Good application

*2021-12-23, version 3.90.9*

Everrithing you need inside to have a good staycation

### 5/5 — So cool

*2021-07-02, version 3.76.8*

A great app, with easy to use features. So useful after you arrive at the resort..

### 3/5 — This app shouldn’t exist

*2025-03-05*

Every other high end resort just texts with WhatsApp. Why go through download, registration, and the ludicrous “pairing” instead of just a WhatsApp text? And if you do need this, why not tell us to set it up before we arrive? Total fail.

**Developer response:** Dear maphappy,
Thank you very much for your feedback and please accept our apologies for the inconvenience. We understand the importance of simple, seamless communication and are currently making improvements to enhance the pre-arrival process and overall experience. Your input is appreciated and helps us do better.
Best wishes,
Six Senses App team

### 3/5 — Invaluable whilst on resort

*2023-05-10, version 4.6.9*

My wife and have been long time visitors to Six Senses resorts (Thailand, Vietnam & Oman) and the experience was enhanced by the release of this app. Ordering room service, spa treatments and general communication with the GEM were all effortless. Just remember to request your room pairing code at check-in.
The recent update now sees a daily alert that an image has been received only for the app to fail to launch.

### 2/5 — Cute idea

*2026-07-27*

No one actually responds to sent messages. Good-looking app though.

### 2/5 — Doesnt work most of the time

*2026-04-17*

I’ve now stayed at several sox senses properties and this app has been essentially unusable at all of them. A waste of time trying to get it to work which is a shame because it does have some useful info

### 2/5 — Poor design bad functionality

*2025-11-03*

For a high end hotel that is part of IHG it does not make sense to even have an app, especially one that only causes friction for guests who are paying a premium. Room pairing in the app doesn’t make sense, I get an error when trying to add simple things like phone number. Finally, what’s the point? Even the on property restaurant menus are scanned documents making them difficult to read.

The only thing Six Senses has shown me in this app is that this brand is not ready for the luxury category they claim to be part of. Very disappointing.
