## What is Size Calculation?

Size Calculation turns your iPhone's LiDAR scanner into a precise body-measuring tool. In under two minutes it captures your key body measurements and recommends the right clothing size - no measuring tape, no guesswork.

HOW IT WORKS
Using the LiDAR depth sensor together with on-device person detection, Size Calculation builds a true-to-scale 3D point cloud of your body. Because LiDAR measures real distances, there is no scale guessing - the foundation of accurate results. A quick two-phase scan (front A-pose, then a 90-degree side turn) is all it needs.

SMART SIZE RECOMMENDATION
Your measurements are matched against EU/UK/US size charts to suggest the garment size that will actually fit, with a confidence indicator so you know how reliable each result is.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
All processing happens on your device. Your camera and depth data are never saved and never leave your iPhone. Your measurements leave the device only if you scan a company's QR code and confirm the transfer yourself - and that is always optional.

REQUIREMENTS
A LiDAR-equipped iPhone (iPhone 12 Pro or later Pro models). For best results, have someone hold the phone about 2 metres away at chest height and wear close-fitting clothing.

### 1.3 — 2026-08-24

• A measurement now starts by scanning the QR code on a shop's product page, so the app knows which piece you are being measured for.
• Your size is read from that product's own table — and when the atelier cuts it close, the roomier size is offered as well.
• The app no longer asks for your gender, fit, brand or size system: that all comes with the product's code.
• The results screen now shows your measurements and nothing else.
• Every measurement is written in centimetres and inches together, so there is no unit to choose.
• Each scan reports an accuracy rate. Below 80% the app asks you to scan again instead of sending a doubtful measurement.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-18

• The side measurement step sometimes stalled part way through. It no longer does.
• When it stalled, the spoken guide fell silent as well. It now keeps talking.
• The warning shown during the side step gave the wrong advice ("stand tall"). It now says something you can act on.
• While you turned, the screen showed everything as fine. It now shows what it actually sees.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-05

• Scan a company's QR code with your phone's own camera — the app opens by itself.
• When a measurement finishes, the sharing confirmation appears on its own. Your measurements are still only sent when you confirm.
• Tell us whether a result matched you with "Is this close to you?".
• Choosing a company now sets the size system to that company's.
• Better size recommendation: you are no longer told you are between sizes when you are not.
