## What is Size Notes?

Draw Secret Santa names in seconds, plan every Christmas gift in one list, and never buy the wrong size again.

Size Notes keeps the clothing, shoe, and ring sizes of everyone you love in one place, plus a festive toolkit that makes holiday shopping simple.

NEW FOR THE HOLIDAYS

- Secret Santa
Add names, set a spending limit and an exchange date, and draw. Nobody gets themselves. Pass the phone around so each person privately reveals their match, or send everyone their match by message. Couples can't draw each other (Pro).

- Christmas Gift List
Everyone you're buying for on one screen: the gift, what you spent, and whether it's bought, wrapped or given. Set a total budget and see how much is left. Their sizes are one tap away while you're in the shop.

EVERY SIZE, FOR EVERYONE

Tops & shirts · Trousers & jeans · Shoes (US/UK/EU) · Rings · Watches · Hats · Suits & formal · Bedding · Style & taste: favourite colours, brands, fragrance · Food preferences · Tech wishlist

SHARE IN ONE TAP
Show a QR code and family can save your sizes instantly, so anyone shopping for you gets it right.

GIFT PLANNER
Birthdays, anniversaries and holidays in one calendar with reminders. Track each gift from idea to wrapped.

GIFT FINDER
Turn what you know about someone into gift ideas: ask an AI assistant, search, or jump straight to a store.

FAMILY & SYNC (optional)
Keep the whole household's sizes up to date across devices. You choose exactly which profiles each group sees.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your data stays on your device. No ads. Sync is opt-in. We never sell your data.

SIZE NOTES PRO: ONE PAYMENT, YOURS FOREVER
Free includes 3 people and Secret Santa for up to 5. Pro unlocks unlimited people, a Christmas list for everyone, any size of Secret Santa group, and can't-draw rules. No subscription. Restore anytime.

Family & Sync
Create or join a family group and keep everyone's sizes in sync across
every device -- no more texting "what size is Dad again?" Each person
chooses exactly which profiles they want visible to each group, so nothing is shared without saying so first.

Smarter syncing
- New profiles that show up in a group no longer import themselves
automatically -- you choose which ones to bring onto your device, and
  when.
- If a synced profile looks like someone you already track, we now ask
whether it's the same person before creating a duplicate, and if it
is, we merge the details instead of overwriting anything.
- Tapping "Sync all groups" now tells you plainly if a group has nothing
shared with it yet, instead of a confusing error.

Family activity feed
Leave quick notes and photos on anyone's profile -- "Bought the blue
jacket, fits great" -- visible to everyone in that group. Save any note
straight to that person's wishlist with one tap. Posts you don't want to
see can now be reported directly from the feed.

Scan-to-join
Join a family group instantly by scanning a QR code -- no codes to type.

Behind the scenes
A batch of stability and security fixes: tightened up how sync requests are handled
are validated on the server, added protections against spammy
login/signup attempts, and gave group activity posts a proper report
path.

The free plan still covers 5 profiles. Size Notes Pro remains a one-time
$2.99 - no subscription, ever.

What's new in v1.3.0

Gift Planner, now with a Calendar View
Switch between Timeline and Calendar in the Gift Planner to see all your
upcoming occasions on a month grid. Tap any day to see what's planned —
event dots keep you oriented at a glance.

Global Holiday Calendar
The planner now knows about gifting occasions from every corner of the
world — International Women's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Holi,
Nowruz, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, Raksha Bandhan, Mid-Autumn Festival,
Africa Day, Día de los Muertos, World Mental Health Day, International
Labour Day, Boxing Day, Kwanzaa, and over 40 more. Wherever your circle
is, we've got them covered.

Trip & Travel Planning
Planning a trip abroad and want to shop for people there? Add a travel
plan — set your destination, travel dates, and pick who you're shopping
for. The planner creates labelled events so you never lose track (e.g.
"Tokyo · Sarah").

Multi-Profile Occasion Planning
Adding a Christmas or birthday event? Select multiple people at once and
the planner creates individual events for each of them. One tap, everyone
covered.

"Coming Up" Seasonal Discovery
A new strip on the planner shows upcoming global occasions not yet in your
calendar — tap any one to plan it instantly with the right profiles.

Quick Shop Mode (NEW)
On any profile, tap Quick Shop to see all their key sizes — top, bottoms,
shoes, rings, hats — in one clean, large-text view. Perfect for showing a
store assistant without scrolling. "No guessing needed."

Style & Taste Profile (NEW)
A new category on every profile captures their colour palette, style
aesthetic, favourite brands, fragrance family, jewellery preference, and
personal shopper notes. The kind of detail that makes every gift feel
chosen, not grabbed.

Milestone Birthday Detection (NEW)
When someone has a birthday in the planner and their birth year is noted,
the app flags milestone occasions (18th, 21st, 30th, 40th, 50th…) so you
can make it truly unforgettable.

Annual Spending Summary (NEW)
A quick budget snapshot on each profile shows the total planned budget and
number of active occasions — useful for gifting with intention.

Settings Refresh
Get & Share is now at the top of Settings. Receive comes before Share,
Language is temporarily hidden while we add more languages, and the
The Profiles tile now shows how many people you've saved with a direct path
to upgrade.

Bug Fixes
- Fixed hero tag crash when switching between Home and Planner tabs
- Fixed the Receive button in Settings (now correctly opens the QR scanner)
- Fixed 7px overflow on the seasonal discovery card strip
- Onboarding now correctly uses the light theme so text is always readable
