Have you ever wanted to post a portrait-orientation picture to Instagram, but when you go to do so, Instagram forces you to crop it because it is "too tall" for Instagram? This extremely simple, free, no-ads app is meant to operate just like a no-cropping, put-it-in-a-square app, for prepping your pictures to share on services like Instagram. The difference is that this app puts-it-in-a-rectangle that is the maximum size allowed by Instagram (1080x1350). Will hopefully add iPad multitasking support soon. ### 1.2 — 2018-08-12 Due to a complaint from AppDetex, on behalf of Instagram/Facebook, about trademark infringement (Instagram/Facebook claims ownership of the mark "INSTA"), I have been forced to rename this app to "SizeMatters" because it makes no money so I cannot hire an attorney to properly respond to the complaint. Everything about this app is the same as version 1.1. ### 1.1 — 2018-06-06 In this version I have simplified the design even more. The settings tab is gone. There is now a toggle on the color picker to switch between "standard" and "custom" colors. Saved image JPEG quality is now found in the main settings app. I have also fixed a bug where orientation information in the metadata was not being used in the processing of the images properly, sometimes resulting in weirdly stretched images by InstaMax. This is now handled properly and no images should be stretched when saved.
