I've had Skala work beautifully for months, then suddenly stop working, even after resets to the Photoshop connection and restart after restart. I rely on this app to produce good work, so it's a shame that I can't count on it for long. **Developer response:** Can you please get in touch with us via our website? And that is a huge caveat, because it has NEVER synced on the first try, and after many attempts I only get it to synch 10% of the time. The colorblind options were great. It's now broken. *2013-02-21, version 1.5* I don't write many reviews and will anxiously await the time I can come and update this review to reflect 5 stars. This application used to be close to perfect. Some comments on the previous release: 1. I would have liked either a more reliable refresh or else a button to do a manual refresh. I use the Photoshop remote management function and it occasionally does not update the screen. My work around has been to hide and then un-hide a layer and the screen will usually refresh. 2. I find "Copy" and "Send to Camera Roll" to be pretty limited. If I could somehow add photos to a certain album that would be nice. I personally would love and use a built in screenshot library. You could hit a save icon on the bottom bar that would bring up a prompt to enter tags. tag your screenshot and it's instantly organized, allowing you to get back to what you were doing. The library would then be viewable by date or tag. This would be a very valuable feature for me and would drastically simplify my work flow. ### 1/5 — I would love it if it were more stable *2012-06-17, version 1.1* This thing crashes or just plain stops working sporadically. If I pay for a utility, I expect it to be more stable than that. ### 2/5 — Inconsistent, poorly made *2021-01-21, version 2.1* It used to work somewhat consistently but now it pretty much never works. Can’t rely on a product that 7 out of 10 times fails to do what it was designed to do. Also, when it does work it’s not the best. It slows down Photoshop immensely and it doesn’t let you view images at full width. I do not recommend. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great w/ Sketch *2018-08-14, version 2.1* Only been using for a few days, but so far, this appears to be a much more reliable alternative to Sketch’s terrible Mirror app. Update: Been using Skala for the last few months and still loving it! So helpful! ### 5/5 — Sketch+Skala View = Best iPhone testing *2016-04-05, version 2.0* I use Skala View as my main tool to test my Sketch designs on iPhones. It's the best tool out there, reliable and easy to set up. It's the most stable mirror app that I've found and the USB connection makes it even more reliable. There are hiccups every now and then, but it happens so rarely that I definitely wouldn't consider it a major issue. AWESOME APP! **Developer response:** Thank you!
