## What is Skating Tracker?

SkateTracker helps competitive skaters stay on top of their season - every event, every trip, every result. Track competitions and practice camps, plan the travel and stays around them, log race outcomes, and monitor your spending. All in one place. All on your device.
- Plan and remember the whole trip - pin venues on a map, save flights and trains, log hotels with tap-to-call, attach boarding passes and bookings as PDFs or images.
- Add competitions and practice camps with dates, cities, and notes.
- Record multiple race results per event (500m, 1000m, relay, etc.).
- Track expenses by category - travel, entry fees, gear, food, and more.
- See stats at a glance - podium rate, medals, best finishes, and monthly spending charts.
- Share your season - a Year in Review card celebrates your medals, events, and best finish, with spending kept private by default.
- Customize the look - 5 accent themes, 4 alternate app icons, and a currency override (Indian lakhs and crores supported, plus 8 other currencies).

The biggest update since launch.

- Your profile. A home for who you are - bio, disciplines, coach, club, body & gear. Plus Identity & Emergency: emergency contacts, memberships, and document scans, with an optional Face ID lock and masked ID numbers.
- Training log. Record practice sessions - focus, duration, effort, notes - and see your hours add up.
- Goals. Set a time to beat, a placement to reach, or a skill to land. Time goals track your current best against the target.
- Equipment & maintenance. Track your boots, blades and wheels, and get reminders when it's time to sharpen or clean them.
- Light mode. A brand-new light theme (not just flat white)... Choose Light, Dark, or System in Settings.
- Share your wins. New per-event result cards... plus share documents, boarding passes and photos straight from the app.
- Membership cards, tidied up. Attach a card scan directly to a membership — no more duplicate entries.
- Plus: expenses by season, a refreshed Coming Up card, a "Done" button on number keyboards, medal totals on Stats, and a lot of polish, accessibility, and privacy hardening.

Everything still stays on your device. No account. No ads. No tracking.

Every Trip, End to End - the biggest SkateTracker update yet.

Plan and remember the whole trip alongside each event:
• Venue pinning with map - Open in Apple Maps 
• Flights, trains, drives - multi-leg, with boarding pass PDFs or images
• Hotels - addresses, tap-to-call, check-in/check-out, booking docs
• Search across venues, flights, hotels, and references

A season worth remembering:
• Year in Review shareable card - medals, events, best finish
• Privacy-first by default - your spending stays off the shared card
• New "Camps" section in Stats, separate from competition results

Make it yours:
• Five accent themes - Skate Purple, Rink Teal, Podium Orange, Sunset Pink, Ice Blue
• Four matching alternate app icons
• Currency override - including Indian lakhs and crores
• Unified expense filters - chips for category, month, or general spend

Quality and polish:
• Locale-aware amount entry (1,500 works, 12,50 works, 1,200.50 works)
• Document attachments warn before files exceed 25 MB
• Forms ask before discarding edits
• Accent and currency changes apply instantly

### 1.9 — 2026-05-26

What's New (v1.9)
- Times & Personal Bests. Log race times alongside positions. Personal Bests appear automatically on Stats - one per distance - with a tap-to-expand progress chart that shows you getting faster over the season.
- Moments worth celebrating. Confetti and a "New PB!" or "Podium!" banner pop when you save a result worth it. The app feels the moment with you.
- Your skater, beside their name. Tap the avatar in Settings to set a profile photo. Small touch, big difference.
- Share that podium. Long-press any race result to share a styled card straight to Instagram, WhatsApp, or anywhere else. Generated locally on your device, never uploaded.
- Swipeable photo gallery. Tap any photo to enter the gallery, then swipe left and right to flip through every photo on the event. Pinch and double-tap to zoom into the details.
- Swipe-to-delete, everywhere. Native swipe gestures on events, races, expenses, and receipts. Long-press still works for power users.
- Plus polish: cleaner chevrons, the "are you sure?" dialogs now appear in the right place, the filter chips finally tap reliably, and CSV exports now include race times and notes.

### 1.8 — 2026-05-19

New reports - monthly spend chart, most expensive events, year-on-year comparison. Tap any chart bar to drill into the underlying expenses.

New reminders - day before an event, morning of, "log your results" the evening after, plus a yearly recap on January 1. All optional, all on-device, never leave your phone. Settings → Reminders to fine-tune.
