I was affected by a recent crashing bug and really appreciate how quickly it was fixed. I prefer this client to all others I’ve tried.

it kicked me out saying “token expired” and now it times out when trying to log back in

I think this is just about the best bluesky app there is right now. But something is causing some really bad stuttering during the scroll. I’m not sure what. Admittedly I’m not on a very powerful iPhone (12 mini) but every other bluesky app scrolls perfectly. 

… also if bookmarks are to be a paid feature, we should have an option to just hide the button. It’s a little annoying. (didn’t they recently add native bookmarks to bluesky anyways? Shouldn’t we switch to those?) 

And finally, the ellipsis menu on posts are *way* too easy to trigger. If I tap to stop a scroll over one of those buttons it will open the menu. That shouldn’t be, buttons shouldn’t tap on scroll stop imo.

The app has had a critical bug for weeks - every time you refresh your timeline it defaults to including replies. Has to be turned off manually every single time. Emailed developer, no response received. Appalling for an app that I pay for.

There are signs of greatness about this app, but there’s missing or faulty functionality. There’s no ‘camera’ option. You can only pick images from your existing camera roll. Lately the GIF picker dialog window has ceased showing ANY images at all.

I really wanted to like this app, and have used it on and off for months, but I think I’ll be deleting it.

You can post pictures properly now, which is great, but frankly the native app does a better job with alt text, letting you see a bigger version of the image as you write.

The iPad orientation is also great. But… the option to not see boaosts doesn’t work, and that’s a really important setting for me. You can’t save drafts on the free version, though both native app and web interface let you do that for free, and why would I pay for a Pro version when already the free version is less good than other free options?

I really wanted a good iPad app for Bluesky, but this isn’t it.

Still like it. Edit not working for me. Can open an edit window but not save?

I’m on iPad and this seems a preferable experience to either the iPhone app turned on its side or the official web app! Surprised the reviewers are not better. Not really sure why I’ve not gone to 5 stars… perhaps later,
Meanwhile, minor suggestion (along with a lot of thanks to the creators):
In the settings where you toggle on or off…. It says “Toggle No to…”. They are toggles… with my presumably diverse brain that is not obvious since there is no “yes” or “no”. Simple replacement with the words “on” or “off” would be more intuitive to me with those toggle switches?

Every post now runs through a new upload engine that keeps going when the app can't. Switch apps, lock your phone, or let iOS shut Skeets down mid-upload — your post picks up where it stopped and finishes in the background.

• Interrupted uploads resume instead of starting over — or disappearing.
• A new Upload Queue in your profile shows everything still on its way, with live progress.
• Cancel, resume and delete individual uploads. Cancel now actually cancels.
• A Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island tracks all your uploads at once.
• Posts you send to Skeets from the share sheet survive it being closed or swiped away — Skeets finishes them the next time you open it.

Faster and steadier:

• Fixed a crash that could keep Skeets from launching on iOS 18.
• Tapping a post opens the thread instantly instead of a full-screen spinner, and pull-to-refresh no longer blanks it out.
• Smoother thread animations.
• Fixed a race that could like a post twice.
• Fixed two causes of unexpected sign-outs: a flaky connection no longer ends your session, and push notifications no longer interfere with it.

Stories, notifications and accounts:

• The Stories row now shows everyone you follow instead of stopping at the first 20 accounts.
• Switching accounts no longer leaves the previous account's stories on screen — or leaves the new account with an empty Stories row for the rest of the session.
• A new Stories switch in Notification settings, so you can keep Stories and turn their notifications off.
• Skeets no longer offers to enable push notifications right after an account switch when they are already on.
• Choosing a custom App View under Advanced Options now sticks, applies to signing in and to browsing while logged out, and offers Eurosky as a preset.
