It seems to be pretty accurate and has been helpful. Latest upgrade left AA guns off defender for amphibious assaults though. ### 3/5 — Works *2013-05-12* Not the game. Calculates odds for a roll. Other than that, great concept. ### 4/5 — Great App, needs update for 5 stars *2010-07-06* I love this app. My buddies and I are avid players and this has been extremely helpful to very quickly calculate the battle outcome odds. Do you attack, how much do you leave in each territory to defend? This app does it's job well. We have recently made the switch to the Pacific update, this app is missing key calculations for tanks/tactical bombers and fighter/fighter bomber combinations. You can cheat the system by swapping out other similar units, but the cost value is off if you do this. In addition, the capital ships have expanded to Carriers as well, this would be a five star review if the additions were to be made to include the Pacific and upcoming Europe update coming in August 2010. ### 4/5 — Handy tool. *2010-04-17* Works quite well for its purpose. This is especially important in when combining hit and run amphibious assaults by the UK. Bring just enough land units at first to hit Poland or France--usually Poland at first to stop one round of eastern front reinforcements--while you get to use your battleships cruisers and air power for that one turn smack. Of course, one has to be careful to bring just the right amount of land units so as not to go into a second round so the air force becomes vulnerable. Do not buy the half done done. Total con job. ### 1/5 — Waste of money *2015-05-11* I bought this app so that outboard game of axis and allies would be faster. I figured we could auto simulate the battles (with this "battle simulator"). But all this app does is calculate statistical odds. Useless except to be to waste more time deciding if you gonna bother to roll dice I the first place. So instead of removing the dice rolling length of time from the board game, all you do is add more steps in trying to see the odds before you roll the dice. While they tried to insert all the different rules variations, which is great, bugs showed up in the revised edition rendering this ap useless for me!!! Please fix them! Please!
