Great Overall, But Could Be Improved.
No subscriptions, and lots of flexibility to what you can do within the app. Love that there is a community for the artists to connect and show support as well.
Here’s the problem.. if you delete the app all of your artwork files get erased in your lobby. You have to go into the setting and Do Not Delete the app, but choose offload app in Setting-General-Storage-SketchClub. Also Make Sure everything is saved either in the iCloud or some where usb, iTunes.. somewhere! If you don’t everything will delete of your files except what is on the community and you will not be able to retrieve it.
*How they could make this better.. 2 things.
First thing -When you select your image, it’s great feature, but if you start changing the size of what is selected the pixel quality diminishes. You should be able to lock the image so you can alter the selection without dismissing the quality of your Art.
Second thing- There should be a better way to save your files in the app like an auto backup of your lobby to your account just as how they save your Art in the community section so if people delete the app by accident or your iPad glitches messes things up and you delete it thinking everything will be restored to your default layout everything wont be gone as it’s tied and saved to your account.

The Best Art Creation App
I have been using SketchClub for all my drawings and paintings for many years now, and almost every day. It has so many features and great tools that I still haven't used them all.
You are only restricted by your ability, but you will get better results with this app, and you will improve. You can post your work in the gallery for other artists to see, and you can see and comment on their paintings and drawings. You will see amazing artwork that will show you what is possible with SketchClub (anything) will inspire you to create your own masterpiece!

Screen record function?
Used to have options to show/record layers, canvas zoom and turning, and add music. Those are gone now? Also, the option to add music still technically exists but doesn’t work.
Many years of fun
I had many years of fun on this app. I had a friend who helped me compose music and a couple others that did album covers. I drew for many years and one particular friend we had a falling out but I forgave him. I became a Christian and doing better I had lots of years of fun on this app. Drawing helps with mental health problems. And I composed 14 albums.

And I composed 14 albums and had a lot of fun but no longer on the app due to a huge fall out of a friend. Some of the activity from this particular person was against the law. He had no right to do what he did. It was sexual assault

App changed my life but a patron member sexually assaulted me
I had many years of fun drawing on this app. I had a favorite friend a patron member. He helped me to compose songs on piano. He loved guitar. Others helped me with album covers and this app has a Christian group on it. I collaborated with music and drew many years worth of drawings. One of the patron members sexually assaulted me and the app developer did nothing about it I forgiven him but no longer use the app due to trauma. He had no right to treat me the way he did plus his behavior was trivial to begin with but I also had some horrible things I went through before we reconnected after many years in return I became a Christian and forgave his behavior but it was very traumatic for me

necessary app!
I use this app for all of my mock-ups for my artwork. it allows me to see how things will look before i put my first brush to canvas. using transparencies and layers that allow me to overlay! brilliant app, i have used since it came out and still use every single day.
Buyer Beware
I wouldn’t recommend the app for the club but the app for the drawing is good. I was sexually assulted on this app by a patron member. I emailed the moderator and still no reply. Also an app full of cyber bullies that have nothing better to do than to talk about people. Drawing app yes very good 5 stars the club 0 stars

Ich mag diese App, ich habe sie leider jetzt erst gefunden, seit Jahren benutze ich diverse andere bekannte Apps um zu zeichnen und zu malen.
Ganz besonders mag ich den sketchy brush, einfach genial, jetzt mache ich alle meine Skizzen mit Sketch Club. Danke dafür!
Eins habe ich aber zu bemängeln, selbst mit eingeschaltetem Ignore touch reagiert das Programm auf meine Hand oder man kann weiterhin auch mit dem Finger malen. Besteht die Möglichkeit das nachzubessern? Dann gibts definitiv 5 Sterne.

Fun way to express myself
I do not use all the tools and do not understand all the great ways to layer etc,. But I have a lot of fun just playing and making shapes, and drawing fauve like paintings- this helps me relieve stress- also I am a plein air painter and sometimes I revisit the subject I just painted and redo it here on sketch club. Love it.

Im amazed not more artists talk about this app, its so cheap and works with all iPads unlike procreate. The creator is so kind and the sketch club awards and community is so amazing. They literally send out medals if you win an award??? Like… how cool is that. perfect drawing app that served me so good during high school and creating my first comics ugh. Perfection. My medal i won years ago is still on my wall and is my proudest achievement fr.

Things not working as they should
I’ve been using sketch club for a very long time, but recently text overlay is completely gone which renders the application useless to me now! So disappointing 😢I’ve tried everything to get it to return with no luck!

FAVORITE ART APP
I’ve been using this app on my iPad Pro for many years. I often try other apps, but I can never find the same functionality that this one offers. I don’t engage with the community; I simply use it as a drawing tool, and I absolutely love it. I highly recommend it! 10/10.00%.
