### 1/5 — Be Careful - Thefts

*2025-11-17, version 1.4.0*

The app and website states that you can watch events on Apple TV, but you can’t. The company just confirmed to me. I asked them to refund me since I couldn’t watch on TV as promised and they would not refund me. They states that Apple is delaying the review and launch of their App that will work with Apple TV and therefore keeping my money. Thieves. Do not subscribe!

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2025-07-14, version 1.4.0*

Was so looking forward to finally having the ability to watch FIS Alpine racing with a commentary since NBC took away the Olympic channel and NBC sports. I read through the facts which stated I'd be able to cast to my TV from the app which after I paid for the subscription I find is complete VS. It keeps asking me to log into some videoflow.io which I can't log into or find out even how to get an account for in order to watch any content on the app so the app is useless. I was able to find through my fire TV the app but it's a painful process to login from there. Incredibly disappointed and aggravated that they charge so much for so little. Shame on you guys in this day and age With tech what it is you're bottom of the barrel.

### 1/5 — Bugs galore

*2025-07-12, version 1.4.0*

Log in bugs are frequent … this app needs to be retooled by experts and not middle school students learning how to code .
The “support “ team is useless as well. They spin and tap dance their way around most every issue without a fix . Infront being a global company only makes it worse . Do yourself a favor … watch all on youtube or peacock.
Has not improved .. only worse. Maybe they should stick to the European market … where their bar is much lower.

### 1/5 — Truly awful

*2025-03-25, version 1.4.0*

To be an FIS Alpine ski fan in America is hard enough. But this app seems determined to make it worse. Badly organized, makes you log in over and over without registering that you’ve done so, and after you close it, it often registers as if you are still watching a race. Since allowed streams are limited, you have to go to your laptop or desktop and log out of the race to watch again. You can’t do it in the app by closing it! However, the app is simultaneously incapable of remembering where you pause a race, so you have to write it down or screenshot it to go back. SASL should just have a Roku app, but won’t do it. What an expensive joke.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2025-03-08, version 1.4.0*

Bait and switch. Stay away

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2025-03-06, version 1.4.0*

Doesn’t work on iPhone or AppleTV. Constant error messages when I try to access replays. Keeps telling me to subscribe even though I’ve already paid. Waste of time and money.

### 1/5 — Constantly fails to recognize subscription

*2025-03-02, version 1.4.0*

This app is particularly bad on Apple TV. It rarely recognizes my subscription and I often end up mirroring stream from my phone or computer. Really really annoying

### 1/5 — Hot Garbage

*2025-02-13, version 1.4.0*

Coverage is sporadic. Charging additional fees to watch world championships even if you have a annual subscription.

### 1/5 — Does not work on iphone, ipad or Apple TV. total ripoff

*2025-02-12, version 1.4.0*

This App doesnt work on iphone ipad or AppleTV as the say it does. I spent the whole season so far trying to get this app to work. When I contacted customer support, They had me jump through all sorts of hoops. None of them worked. big big big waste of time. Very frustrating. I asked for more suggestions. Nothing happened. When I asked for a refund for prior troubles they said no and cancelled me. They refunded my month’s subscription which was only a few days old. Probably the worst subscription service I ever had. I’d gicve if a zero if I could because you cant even get past the slash screen. its truly worthless. dont spend your money!

### 1/5 — Deceptive pricing

*2025-02-09, version 1.4.0*

Be careful. The “all access yearly” subscription isn’t all access at all. You have to pay again for “big” events like the World Championships. No notice about that.

### 1/5 — Unbelievably bad service

*2025-02-08, version 1.4.0*

We use the iOS app on Apple TV, latest hardware and software, 100mbs+ internet. This is our 3rd year with this app. While the app itself is far less glitchy than it first was, its functionality is still terrible. You want to watch an Alpine race from 12 hours ago? The app will show the event as “upcoming” on the Home menu and is not listed at all under the Alpine menu. After clicking a bunch of different menus and then going back to the Home menu the event will finally show up as available for replay. Still won’t show up under Alpine. The back end service can’t keep track subscriber access rights either. We are forever getting a barrage of unhelpful error messages barring access to events and are forever logging out and logging back in to try to get around them. Often we’ll watch one event just fine but when going straight to the next event an error message will say “Video Requires a Subscription” - which the service seemed to have been aware of one replay prior… Multiple rounds of frustration every night. The Nordic commentators are good but the Alpine events mostly have ones so bad we go with the volume off. What an embarrassment to the U.S. Ski Teams and their sponsors.

### 1/5 — Deceptive Pricing

*2025-02-07, version 1.4.0*

The app is mediocre. It requires you to log out and back in to recognize your account most times you use it. This is annoying, but tolerable.

The price went up 30% this year I guess "just because". This was also annoying, but not entirely unexpected since they have a monopoly on 90% of FIS Alpine event broadcasts to US residents and it's not like we have a choice but to pay it if we want to follow the full season.

What really makes me angry is that the Alpine Subscription, which includes "All Alpine events", does NOT include the 2025 World Championship. This is $30 more! But you don't learn about that until you sit down with your family to watch the replay of the first race of the championships, get an app error saying you're not authorized to view it, log out and log back in following the usual routine described above, get the same error, log out and in again thinking it's just broken, get the same error, go to the website to view it and are told "This video is for paying viewers. Here are some options we offer" and get an option to pay $4 PER REPLAY or $30 for all of them, then email support explaining there's an issue b/c you have access to "All Alpine events", and are then explained that oh, no, that's not really ALL Alpine events, it's just events in the regular World Cup season, if you want ALL, you need to pay $30 more. What a way to ruin a good thing.

The mediocre app is worth 3 stars and the deceptive pricing brings it down to 1.

### 1/5 — This Service Doesn’t Work.

*2025-02-01, version 1.4.0*

Tried 2 different times to watch my son ski in the World Cup and couldn’t get the video to ever play. Missed him skiing against #1 in world. Did all of the troubleshooting that they recommended from the first time it didn’t work and still nothing. Even tried the app/chrome/safari all to no avail. I emailed them for a refund of my fee. Haven’t heard from them yet. I’ll update when I do.

### 1/5 — The app won’t open

*2025-02-01, version 1.4.0*

I have this app on my TV and on my phone. It does not work in either place. It fails to load and on the TV app on unable to login. End up having this treatment from the website.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Keeps getting worse

*2026-04-20, version 1.4.10*

So now I cannot airplay or stream to my tv. The app doesn’t give me the option anymore. Why? And why did the favorites option go away? I can’t go back to where I left off or even see what races I have watched unless I open a race first. It just keeps getting worse.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-02-02, version 1.4.10*

Absolutely terrible. What’s most terrible is that there’s no other way to watch these races. They’ve got us. Does pair well with the tv. Doesn’t remember your password. The replays become choppy and digital after 30 minutes of streaming. Be careful not to press pause or the wrong button on the remote because you’ll have to start all over again at the beginning of the video, and the fast forward doesn’t work well if at all and there’s no thumbnail of the video when forwarding so you can’t tell where you are. And there’s more. Unbelievably terrible for the price I’m paying.

### 1/5 — Does NOT work on Apple TV

*2026-01-24, version 1.4.10*

Completely useless on Apple TV. I’ve scanned the QR code and entered my log in multiple times and it doesn’t work. Works on website but not with the app. Very frustrating as I’d much rather watch ski events on TV than my iPad. Please fix!!!!!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with AirPlay and can’t multitask

*2026-01-19, version 1.4.10*

This app is TERRIBLE!! It won’t remain connected to my Apple TV when trying to airplay from my iPhone and the app constantly crashes

### 1/5 — 3rd party video player will not validate account credentials

*2025-12-18, version 1.4.10*

Please fix this issue. I will gladly remove the poor review when my customer service ticket is resolved, and the app functions as intended.

UPDATE: While the streaming service does not work through the app, their auto-billing on deleted accounts works perfectly. Resolution by CC company dispute only. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Support never resolved my “ticket.”

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2025-12-14, version 1.4.10*

It says you’re connected and can project to the tv but u absolutely can’t. I can’t believe it’s not some kind of crime that I paid $11.99 for this

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2025-12-13, version 1.4.10*

There are so many problems with this app, I’ll just list them out to keep this condensed: 1. The typical announcer needs to go. Please bring someone in that really knows the sport and doesn’t say “absolutely” in every third sentence. 2. The app doesn’t remember where you left off it you can’t finish a race in one go or, as what more typically happens, the cast gets disconnected and you have to start over. Please remember where you left off. 3. The app doesn’t remember what you already watched. I only view the Alpine races - make it easy for me to see what’s up next. 4. This is an app, not a DVD player. Be more creative - add the ability to see stats on the current racer at any time. Let me jump to a specific bib/racer if watching a recording (as most people do as the races typically take place in the early morning hours. Let me turn off the announcer and hear the skiing - almost every racer I know just keeps the sound off now but you lose a lot that way.

### 1/5 — Please improve

*2025-12-06, version 1.4.8*

This app is incredibly frustrating for us rabid fans of ski racing who support you. It randomly crashes on iOS. If you’re collecting subscription fees, the content should stream. You need to do better

### 1/5 — Apple TV is broken

*2025-12-03, version 1.4.8*

App is fundamentally broken for Apple TV. Won’t let you login if you happen to use Google to login - one of the options they allowed when signing up. The experience to try and use this service is so poor that it’s like US skiing gave up on having US fans. So disappointing.

### 1/5 — App Doesn’t Load

*2025-11-28, version 1.4.0*

This app doesn’t even load on iPhone app or Apple TV app

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love the coverage, could be better

*2023-12-30, version 1.1.0*

I love the access to the alpine coverage. A few things I think could be improved are with the announcing. I think it’s better to have two announcers per event and I wish they came on earlier in the intro coverage to give more background on the location and the lead up to the events

### 5/5 — Finally tv app

*2023-11-13, version 1.0.2*

Great place to watch alpine skiing
One thing - please improve description writing with different colors or something because it is nearly impossible to read - extremely light on light background ( under video icon )

### 5/5 — Upgraded Rating

*2023-11-12, version 1.0.2*

This app is a welcome addition for fans of World Cup alpine and Nordic ski racing. All the races are covered, except for ones in Austria and some in the US, which are carried by Peacock. The videos are awesome, and replays are available if you missed an event, or just don’t want to get up at 4 am. And Steve Perino does the commentary and analysis, even on the replays, all by himself without a network minder. If you have trouble watching, which I did at first, the service people are prompt and helpful. My only complaint is that the low contrast in the event menu makes it difficult to read. I got the early bird subscription rate, and it’s well worth it.

### 3/5 — Audio

*2025-02-28, version 1.4.0*

The audio feed is very low volume. Commentators, who rarely introduce themselves, talk more about seconds ahead or behind rather than racer's technique strengths and weaknesses. The exception is Steve Porino, who gets it right. Video feed can be quite good.

### 3/5 — need landscape mode for tablets

*2023-12-24, version 1.1.0*

reliable way to watch racing and freestyle events in the u.s. but for $70 i expect an app that supports landscape mode on ipad, and not just for video feeds.

### 3/5 — Still flaws

*2023-12-03, version 1.1.0*

They have a favorites tab however there is no way to mark videos with a heart to add to favorites.

### 2/5 — Most people are probably watching on their TV

*2026-03-23, version 1.4.10*

The latest version 1.4.10 has made welcome corrections to a few problems, but there is one huge fail. Most people probably want to watch on their TV, via AirPlay or whatever method. When I use AirPlay to watch on my TV, if I don’t remember to touch the screen on my device every minute or so, it shuts down and kicks me out of the app in the middle of playback. When watching on my device without any casting, for instance I am at a hotel during a ski weekend and TV playback is not an option, this does not happen - you can just watch the entire playback undisturbed. The previous version, for all its flaws did not require us to keep fiddling with our device’s screen to be able to watch entire replays with AirPlay. This is [expletive deleted] poor UX :(. Please fix for next year

### 2/5 — Please delete this review

*2026-02-02, version 1.4.10*

Trying to delete my previous review

### 2/5 — Crashing

*2025-12-15, version 1.4.10*

App keeps crashing when I try to use Apple Air Play on my Samsung TV. I also have to keep logging in which is challenging sometimes.

### 2/5 — Missoula

*2025-03-16, version 1.4.0*

Frustrating app. Often fails to log you in and I spend too much time trying to watch a race. Commentating is great if you can get in. Pls fix for next season.
