## What is Skibet?

Skibet ("The Ship") is a realistic motorboat simulator that takes seamanship seriously. Practice the manoeuvres that scare boat owners the most — coming alongside, leaving the quay and reversing into a tight berth — until they become second nature. With no risk to your boat, your neighbours or your confidence.

BELIEVABLE BOAT BEHAVIOUR
The boat has mass and momentum, the stern swings out in turns, gear shifts take time, and the rudder is weak in reverse — just like the real thing. A simulator, not an arcade game.

WIND, CURRENT AND EVENTS
Onshore wind, offshore wind, gusts, cross-current — and dynamic events like wind shifts, tide changes and rain squalls. Learn to use the weather as a tool, or compensate when it works against you.

FOUR BOATS, REAL EQUIPMENT
From a 20-ft console boat to a 40-ft flybridge. Bow thruster, stern thruster or both — with heat limits — or twin-engine manoeuvring with differential throttle.

20+ TRAINING SCENARIOS + FREE PRACTICE
Scenarios of increasing difficulty: from a first calm approach to very tight berths in crowded marinas with crosswind. Plus a free-practice simulator where you pick the boat, equipment, harbour and weather — including world harbours built from real OpenStreetMap data.

FEEDBACK LIKE AN INSTRUCTOR
After every run: approach speed, angle, thruster discipline and collisions — concrete feedback on how you manoeuvred, not just whether you made it.

LEADERBOARD AND CHALLENGES
Play as a guest — everything is stored locally. Or create a free account, join the leaderboard, fight in the weekly league and challenge your friends to duels on the same course in the same weather.

THE ENTIRE GAME WORKS OFFLINE
All code, 3D models and scenarios ship inside the app. Only the leaderboard, account and challenges need a connection.

Available in English, Danish, German, French and Spanish. Free, no ads, no in-app purchases — and no data collection when you play as a guest. Your account can be deleted directly in the app.

### 1.3 — 2026-08-19

New chapter: Tasks at Sea — six missions: man overboard, fog bank, holding position, slalom, drifting debris and rescue in heavy seas.

Guided berthing: the harbour master coaches you towards the quay, and a new approach meter shows whether your speed and angle are right.

The sail panel now works with the mouse — J, K and L are still shown as shortcuts.

Now also in Italian, Portuguese and Turkish. Plus a calmer camera, the hull sits correctly in the water again, and three rendering fixes.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-09

The sea has been rebuilt from the keel up: calmer, more beautiful and more realistic in all weather — and the boat now rides the waves like a real hull.

• Take the helm: the cockpit view now moves with the boat

Sign in with Google, Microsoft or Apple — or keep playing as a guest. Your account now works the same on web and in the app, so scores and rank follow you.

• Speed warning when you approach the quay too fast
