## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.4 — 2026-10-30

Skies 1.4 is all about polish. A cleaner, more consistent design, smoother animations and haptics, a new welcome flow, better offline and error screens, Feels Like and wind gusts, improved widgets and VoiceOver support, iPhone Duo support with a two-pane layout on the big screen, and a fix for a crash some people saw at launch.

### 1.1 — 2026-10-28

Skies 1.1 brings a big batch of new features:

• What to wear: a plain-English line at the top tells you whether to bring an umbrella, a jacket or sunscreen.
• Next-hour rain: a minute-by-minute chart with "Rain starting in X min", plus a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island while rain is near.
• UV card and alerts: see the UV index and when to use sun protection, with optional notifications for high UV, poor air quality and pollen.
• Compared to yesterday: see at a glance if it's warmer or colder than yesterday.
• Interactive Cities widget: flip through your saved cities right from the Home Screen or Lock Screen.
• Apple Watch: a new Rain & UV complication, and Skies surfaces in the Smart Stack when rain is coming.
• Mac menu bar: a Next 6 Hours peek and a compact live radar.
• Siri & Shortcuts: "Weather at my next meeting" uses your calendar to forecast the time and place of your next event.
• Seasonal app icons and richer animated skies for sunrise, sunset, storms and snow.
• Skies+ (optional): a 16-day outlook, frost and big-temperature-swing alerts, and extra sky themes. Start with a 1-week free trial.
• Location suggestions: when adding a city, Skies now suggests places as you type.
• Tidier layout: Settings and Share now live in the menu.
