I discovered in person lessons are a better for me. I canceled after one month. I accidentally canceled my membership the day after it renewed. I asked my coach for a refund since I wouldn’t be using the lesson. He declined to give me a refund but instead lectured me about the importance of keeping track of my bills. Got charged an extra $110 for nothing. ### 1/5 — Can’t delete free lesson *2024-07-09* I was randomly assigned a coach from the totally different country that I have no interest in working with but there’s no way to delete it. He sends me unsolicited messages all the time and when opening the app it appears under active lessons. I was looking to pay for a more expensive coach located in the same country as me but instead I’m deleting this app and not even bothering to try now. ### 1/5 — Terrible customer support *2024-02-14* Bought a lesson a week ago and haven’t heard a word from the coach. Reached out to Skillest and they took 3 days to get back to me. The app says it usually takes 48 hours for a lesson to get done. I asked for a refund and no one answered me. Don’t waste your time ### 1/5 — Underhand charges of £21.99 a month!! *2022-02-17* Had the app and used its features since 2021. Randomly mid Jan and Feb it has billed me though my mobile contract 21.99 per month. I had to call Apple to find out what it was for as it’s just code on the bill. The ‘contact us’ feature on the app and website don’t work to talk to anyone. Great product. Underhand charges. I’d stay away! ### 1/5 — Worst App Ever!!! *2020-05-22, version 1.9.55* I wait one week and any coach answered my messages. The App developer never gave me a reason why the coaches do not answer me and when I send him a message he ignored me. Do not try this app, is a lost of time. ### 2/5 — Frustrating *2026-07-21* If you’re paying a lot of money for coaching, this app can be incredibly frustrating when it doesn’t work. Very buggy when submitting videos, which recently are not reaching the coach after submitting them (after hitting send to coach, they just disappear from the lesson). After spending the last two weeks trying to send videos before an important match, I’m giving up. It’s a shame, I like my coach and he’s good, but I’m throwing my money away if I can’t get the feedback I need between lessons. Found Skillest and very quickly got swing analysed from a pro and then realised I could pay for a whole month coaching for the same price as I was about to pay for a few lessons. Made a huge difference so far.
