I tried to contact customer service and just got constant AI responses. They make canceling your membership very difficult. It was impossible for me to get ahold of an actual person. I do not recommend using Skillshare. It is very expensive with terrible customer service.

No need to spend thousands of dollars when you can learn from great teachers on Skillshare! I wish I knew about Skillshare before I took an expensive course. I have learned more here. If you want to go deeper in your craft it’s also a great way to see which teachers you like best before you take their more advanced courses.

Love this app, I have just repurchased my yearly subscription. As a new artist, it’s been great to have such a variety of great tutorials on a wide breadth of subjects and styles to explore. The teachers are knowledgeable and, it’s a great place learn and follow your interests as well as push you out of your comfort zone. Lots of learning, no pressure. What more could you want!

It starts exciting. You have hundreds of videos that look amazing. But then you realise there’s nothing on here that you couldn’t also get for free on YouTube. So don’t waste your money on this. Seriously. 

And watch out if you do subscribe. Auto-renewal is on and they won’t let you cancel even if it’s on the day it automatically (and without a pre-warning) renews.
