## What is Skim or Dive?

Skim or Dive is an ebook reader built around one simple idea: you decide how deep you go — so you finish more of the books you start.

Not every book earns 400 pages of your time. When a story drags, or you have less time than it needs, ease the detail down and skim to the end instead of abandoning it. When a story grabs you, dive into every word. Same book, your pacing — and far fewer half-read books on the shelf.

A single slider — from skim to dive — reshapes any book in real time. Pull it up to glide across a chapter as a short summary. Push it down to sink into the full, unabridged prose. Every level in between gives you more or less detail, so you can race through a slow stretch and savour the part you love, all without ever leaving the page.

Reading comfort settings — shape the page around how you actually read.

• Five reading themes: Light, Sepia, Dim, Dark and High contrast. Choose one for daylight and a separate one for night, and the light/dark switch moves between exactly those two.
• Typeface: read in a classic serif or your device's standard sans.
• Text size, line spacing, letter spacing and paragraph spacing, each adjustable on its own — open the text up until it sits comfortably.
• A live sample paragraph updates as you adjust, so you can see the result before returning to your book.
• Reset to defaults whenever you want to start over.

Two ways in: tap "Aa" in the reader's top bar, or go to Profile → Reading settings.
