## What is Skimmias?

Skimmias is your child's memory box, from pregnancy onwards.

Every month, add what you are living with them: a voice message, photos, a short video, a note or a real letter. At the end of the month, the envelope closes; you still have a few days to complete it, then it seals. The memories stay safe until the day you hand it all over to them.

• One envelope a month, on a wreath that grows with your child
• Their voice, your photos, videos and letters, filed in the right month
• Catch up on past months at your own pace, even before birth
• Together: invite the other parent to keep the Skimmias with you
• A gentle reminder before the month closes
• A trusted contact, in case you lose access to your account
• A full copy of your memories, readable without the app
• Your files are hosted in the European Union, never sold, never used for advertising

No feed, no likes, no ads: just a quiet place to write to your child and, when the day comes, hand over everything you kept for them.

Yearly subscription per child, renewed automatically, cancel anytime in Settings. Terms: https://app.skimmias.com/conditions?app=ios&lang=en — Privacy: https://app.skimmias.com/confidentialite?lang=en

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.16.0 — 2026-10-27

A review request at the right moment, more helpful trial emails, security fixes.

### 1.14.0 — 2026-10-21

Loved ones can add a memory more easily: one message to invite them, and Recent guests to invite them again in one tap. Lighter videos, the space left this month shown in minutes of video and photos, and removing a memory frees up its space. More reliable uploads on slow connections, safer sign-in and many small refinements.

### 1.11.2 — 2026-10-16

Skimmias 1.11.2
• A first memory in one tap: touch the mic and recording starts.
• Ask a loved one for a memory from "Add a memory": a link that works for 72 hours, nothing for them to install.
• Share the card of the month that has just been sealed, without showing your memories.
• Refer a family: with your link, they get an extra month of trial.
• When your first month is sealed, a summary of what is waiting for your child.
• Video uploads: follow the progress as a percentage until it's done.

### 1.9.3 — 2026-10-14

• Monthly challenge: a memory idea suited to your child's age.
• Their firsts: mark them and find them again in one tap.
• Choose the photo on the month's envelope, and give your photos a title.
• Share photos to Skimmias from Photos; shortcuts with a long press on the icon.
• A weekly reminder, on the day and at the time you choose.
• Import many photos at once, and uploads that resume after a dropped connection.
• Editable date of birth, clearer and smoother screens.

### 1.5.1 — 2026-10-10

What's new
• A redesigned My account: everything sorted into a few clear sections, with the guide at the top to answer your questions.
• Siblings: a reduced price for each additional child in the family.
• Easier-to-read month crown.
• Fixes and small improvements.
