Will not refund you at all if you forget to cancel a subscription even if they can check on their end that you have not used the app at all during that billing period or even weeks before it. Don’t forget to cancel!

Before you make a subscription purchase (which you HAVE to make if you want to use the actual tanning/darkening/skin tone feature), the app automatically selects any skin for you (via one-touch). And you think, wow, this is great & easy). As soon as you make a purchase, that feature disappears and you have to manually select where the skin is, which is impossible to do accurately without going even a little bit outside the lines. And if you mess up, there’s no “undo” feature to reverse what you just did. You either have to start all over again (which you also can’t do by just pressing a “home” or “start over” button, but you have to exit the app and reopen it, reload the picture, and literally start from scratch again), or you have to use the “eraser” which functions in the same messy way as the skin selector. So they bait you with false features and then as soon as you make a purchase, they take them away and you’re left with a crude one-star version of the app. What a rip-off.

**Developer response:** We’d like to clarify that the automatic skin selection feature is available both before and after the purchase. It has not been removed or altered for paid users. The app also includes an erase feature, and you don’t need to restart the app to reset your work. You can achieve pinpoint accuracy when manually selecting or erasing areas by zooming into the photo. I’ve used this app for years and have absolutely loved it. However I’m genuinely sad and annoyed about the fact that I can no longer use it due to it going from free to use (besides the money spent when I purchased the app) to needing a monthly subscription to use the whole point of the app- the tanning feature! It’s just upsetting and overall irritating that I can no longer use the app I once loved and used for every picture due to this :( Oh well though.

You have to pay to get the tan filter on your photos, which is false advertising because that is not stated on the app itself. You can’t advertise a free product and expect working people to pay for it.

Can’t do anything on the app unless you pay, even and especially its main person: to provide a tan. And the tan is literally just you brushing your finger over your picture, auto select doesn’t even work properly, you can do this and much more for free on Airbrush. Was trying to find something that would be less work than that, but this is not it.

they upgraded the app and you have to pay for everything apart from “smooth skin” which is stupid because the whole point of getting the app is for the tan. Was so much more useful when the tan was free

I usually don’t leave app reviews but after seeing that this app got some negative reviews I was skeptical to purchase it but then there were other reviews that were positive so I went ahead and spent $.99 on it after all it’s not a big amount to lose and boy am I glad I bought it!!!! I came to vacation pasty white and I didn’t want that  to stop me from having beautiful photos and this app is amazing and gave me awesome tan. Don’t worry about purchasing it you will not regret it. I am so glad I did. So 10 stars to you guys

This was just what I needed. My legs were super white and the rest of me was tan. So I colored in my legs, erased where I had colored over the lines, and used to the app to make my legs as tan as the rest of me!

Not sure why the first review said it was crap. It took me a few tries to get used to coloring in the area you want tanned. But it looks really natural. My legs were pale in a dress in a photo I wanted to post and this fixed it. It does any body part you want. I think it's great and have already tanned myself in 3 photos in the first 30 min of buying it.
