They don’t even specify if it’s a facial or just shining a light on your face. It’s easy to book and pay for your stuff but the lack of information on how certain things are really makes it difficult. You have to visit the stores in person just so that you get the procedures explained to you. It’s Inefficient and it lacks convenience. ### 2/5 — No way to cancel/reschedule bookings *2025-11-15, version 1.0.88* Newer UI is definitely more aesthetic. I just wish they didn’t take away users’ independence on managing their own bookings. Now, you had to contact the branch just to reschedule appointments when I can perfectly do this on my own through the old website. Just ridiculous. Bring the old website back. No fluff, just straight forward functionality. ### 2/5 — Sorting Option *2025-06-22, version 1.0.64* Booking and buying through the app is fast and convenient, which I really appreciate. However, it would be great to have a sorting option especially by price and by type of service. This would make it much easier to find exactly what I’m looking for. ### 2/5 — Booking got worse *2025-05-29, version 1.0.47* In the previous version of the app, booking was noticeably faster and more user-friendly—it would automatically suggest the nearest available dates, making it easier to explore other options. Now, however, the loading time is extremely slow, and it often just shows that slots are fully booked. To check other dates, I have to manually change the date, wait again, and still end up seeing everything as unavailable. This not only delays my visit but also impacts potential sales and leaves customers disappointed. ### 1/5 — Booking Appointments are useless *2025-04-25, version 1.0.20* I happen to cannot book any appointment with the app given that I already put the filters for most of the stores in my vicinity and even went to dates to as far as December 2025. It is disappointing that payment comes first before booking the appointment because the payment for the service is non refundable once paid. ### 1/5 — I miss the old website. *2025-04-13, version 1.0.20* I miss booking through the website before — so much more efficient and effective. I’ve tried both app versions and both are bad. This second version is worse since a lot of things are not even functioning properly. Even for payment. I already paid through my selected payment method and it went through (I have receipts for it) but in the app it says that “payment failed”. So now I have to contact the customer to fix this stuff. I can’t believe how a large skin care clinic with multiple branches like this still can’t have a customer-friendly application. I have nothing against your actual skin care services because they are good — but your application just makes the booking processes so much harder! Please work on it! You probably lost a lot of potential customers and clients because they can’t get through ordering through your very dysfunctional app! This is my first time writing a review for an app too because it’s just so bad! ### 1/5 — Booking an Appointment *2025-03-26, version 1.0.19* Scheduling and rescheduling has become harder and harder in this app. I wish you have a website where we can just book an appointment without the hassle of all this loading and access getting denied over every available schedule. Please make it better for your customers. ### 1/5 — Poor system *2025-03-14, version 1.0.19* I’ve been experiencing difficulty to book and find my purchased services to book thru this app. I’ve emailed their Customer Service couple of times and it’s no good of a help. Went to the nearest branch to properly address what I needed to book and provided feedback first hand and they said that system was still to be updated. It’s been months and I’m still having the same challenges with no improvements. Could this be done once and for all to make consumers’ usage better?? ### 1/5 — Practically unusable *2025-03-08, version 1.0.19* The old app wasn't the best, but this is much worse. It doesn't even show the right search results. It takes forever to load packages. It's not convenient whatsoever. It's annoying at best and downright frustrating at worst. Please fix this app before you end up losing current and potential customers! ### 1/5 — The developers should be fired and replaced *2025-02-22, version 1.0.18* The old app is more functional. Who makes an app that logs you out after few minutes in the session. It takes forever from one page to another to load. What is the use of fancy UI with amazing pictures when basic functionality is not even there. This cannot even be called a beta app. I have seen beta apps works better than this. Whoever suggested to kill the other app and go with this without even doing a proper QA and beta test should be held accountable. ### 1/5 — Worse than old app *2025-02-21, version 1.0.18* The old app was bad, but I didn’t know it was possible to create an even more terrible app. I can’t even log-in properly & on a rare chance that I can log-in, I’m immediately kicked out & signed-out once I try to make an appointment. It’s so bad that it’s a lot better to use the website & there’s absolutely no point for this app to exist ### 1/5 — Disastrous *2025-02-03, version 1.0.17* The new and updated version of the SkinStation app is disappointing. It runs very slowly, frequently crashes, and is difficult to navigate. The user experience has become frustrating instead of convenient. I hope the developers address these issues soon to improve performance and usability. ### 1/5 — Frustrating *2025-01-29, version 1.0.17* They focused on gimmicky features and did not improve on functionality. Services and Packages don’t have sufficient description on (1) what it is, (2) expected procedure, and (3) target outcome. Loading pages take twice or even thrice the time compared to the previous app. It’s such a hassle trying to book for appointments as the page takes more than 5 minutes to load. I also don’t see all my purchased packages. ### 1/5 — Poor Design and Slow (Even worst that the last app) *2025-01-14, version 1.0.16* The old is hard to use and this new one is much harder!! Very poor UI design and very slow. I’m not sure why SkinStation is investing on these ineffective IT (developers and designers). Everytime I checkout to buy something, the app crashes or freeze. I wonder how much lost of revenue this makes to SkinStation as a company specially if they are not aware. ### 1/5 — App is incredibly frustrating!! *2025-01-13, version 1.0.16* The new app is so slow and takes too much time to book an appointment. It’s not so user friendly compared to the old app, which was much easier to book and purchase products. Simple tasks now feel unnecessarily complicated, making the overall experience frustrating. I hope these issues are addressed soon because it feels like a downgrade. ### 1/5 — A downgrade *2025-01-12, version 1.0.16* The updated app is such a downgrade. It takes too long to load and is way harder to navigate than the previous one. Scheduling an appointment somehow just got more difficult bc of how the purchased services were arranged (from previous to latest purchases) and there aren’t any filters for it. And with more emphasis it just takes too long to load anything! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Connection problem *2026-03-25, version 1.0.100* Can’t even begin to sign in to my account. It keeps saying unstable internet connection when it’s the only app which can’t seem to connect to the internet. All the other apps on my phone function well enough without any delays. I’ve tried using both wifi and data and nothing seems to work. ### 1/5 — Stop forcing this app to happen. *2026-03-23, version 1.0.96* Website was already working before. Now we just have an app with really really bad programming. Everything crashes. Just stick to the old website, no one is finding this helpful at all. Unless you invest in better programmers then maybe this can actually be somewhat purposeful ### 1/5 — PROBLEMATIC APP *2025-08-04, version 1.0.78* There are so many inconveniences with this app. 1. UNABLE TO RESET PASSWORD You can’t reset your password, they will direct you to their website byt their website is crashing and can’t go through. 2. UNABLE TO SEE ELITE MEMBERSHIP You can’t see or find your membership in the cards tab. They will keep on telling you to reinstall the app but there are no chnges. Then they will tell you to go to your account but still they can’t resolve the issue. 3. MISSING ITEMS YOU ADD IN THE CART Once you exit the app, the next day or in a few hours your added items are no longer in your cart. 4. WRONG BIRTHDATE DISPLAYED I tried to change my birthdate because they defaulted it into January 1970. But when I tried to change it into my real birthdate, it still doesn’t change. 4. INCONVENIENT SEARCH TABS When you are trying to search for a specific item or promo it does not appear. 5. UNORGANIZED DISPLAY OF PROMOS The promos displayed are scattered and hard to find ### 1/5 — Such a Shame *2025-08-02, version 1.0.78* Sobrang nakakahiya itong app na ito for the company. I’m not even sure kung paano ito na-approve to be published. Did someone even test it before it was rolled out? This isn’t a better app, it’s actually even worse. And to be honest, the old app was less worse. Please hire better app developers. Please don’t cut costs too much. As a customer, this app feels like it was done just for the sake of having an app and not really done to give customers a better experience and service. And once again, such a shame. ### 1/5 — The app always crashes. *2025-07-11, version 1.0.77* I was trying to book an appointment. As I was pinning my location, the app closes itself. I have tried again and again and it always does the same thing. Waste of storage space. I just have to call the branch I want to have an appointment with (this totally defeats the purpose of having an app to book appointments). ### 1/5 — Not working. *2025-06-29, version 1.0.74* Old app isn’t working anymore so I had to download this new one. Nothing will load. I can’t even log in. It keeps telling me my password is wrong even though I’ve already changed it. Tried changing it again but it won’t let me anymore. Dysfunctional app that’s hard to navigate. Plus, their website is the same. Slow, won’t load, won’t log me in. The old app was wayyy better. ### 1/5 — Bad UI! Looks like a college student made their app *2025-06-01, version 1.0.53* Very inconvenient to use, always refreshing. If only I can give 0 star rating for the inconvenience. It’s so difficult to book / reschedule an appointment using this app!!!! It was easier when there was still the website version. It seems like the app was made by a college student for his thesis. Very slow and inefficient app ### 1/5 — The worst! *2025-05-31, version 1.0.53* This is the worst app I’ve ever had to use. Everything takes forever to load, and you’re lucky if you can even accomplish what you need to. Even something as simple as booking an appointment can really test your patience. The sad part is, you can’t book through their website anymore, so you’re stuck dealing with this dysfunctional app. I had to go to one of their branches just to ask them to book for me because the app wouldn’t process it. DI KO GETS BAT NAG APP PA, EVEN WEBSITE NYO HINDI NAMAN MAKAPAGBOOK. i might switch to wink laser na lang after i finish my sessions. sobrang hassle yikes ### 1/5 — Soooo unnecessary *2025-05-26, version 1.0.47* I went there to get my facial done but they told me I can only reserve if I download the app. I tried, I downloaded the app but it doesn’t even let me choose my preferred date when or where I can get my facial done! It just goes straight to payment which is soooo money grubbing behavior. There should be an option to book onsite! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — CANNOT RESET PASSWORD *2025-06-03, version 1.0.53* Tried to reset the password using the app. A notice prompt that an instruction will be sent to my email. However, upon checking my email, there is no instruction. The email only contains my Name, email adress and URL link. No temporary password or whatnots. I cannot recover my account and cannot book for an appointment. From the package selection until booking my appointment, I must say I didn't have a hard time. It really helped me save a lot of my time and money from going directly to your branch. At first I had to reset my password but it wasn’t a problem. I noticed that it’s also faster compared to their old app. Hope you will also have app-exclusives. ### 4/5 — Smooth *2025-12-01, version 1.0.93* App is easier to use now compare to the old app. It’s easier to track the location and the available time slots, it took too much time to load on previous app in which I have to contact the support on your website. Back button must be improved after reading the T&C for payment as it will land you to login page after reading it. ### 4/5 — Not useful at all *2025-05-18, version 1.0.46* It’s always stuck at loading, logs you out automatically then. it becomes difficult to log in ‘cause it’s stuck at loading. :/ ### 3/5 — App is slow *2025-10-22, version 1.0.88* App needs improvement. It took 3 times before I was able to pay for a service because it was so slow and there was also a point that it had flashing screen. Don’t know how to add screen recording here. But it was easy to book an appointment. Also, pls put a search bar on the Promo tab ### 3/5 — Great UI, basic functionality for improvement *2025-01-06, version 1.0.16* Everything takes time in the current app. You can improve by limiting the clicks to get what users want to achieve. E.g. I want to book for an appointment. Loading the product I selected takes time, maybe you can improve on your query/code to process more quickly… e.g. just have a button ‘history’ so that when I click it that’s the only time I have to wait for the loading of your audit list/history for completed/canceled appointments. When I choose for preferred branch, you can just load the top 3 or 5 branches near the location I pin/inputed.
