## Most critical reviews (9 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — DESTROYS PHOTOS

*2026-02-18*

So i’ve been using this app for maybe 2-3 years now and for
the first 2 it was completely fine. Recently i’ve been going in to check my past photos for progress and all my photos are unavailable and you
can’t see them anymore. Instead of my photos is a blurry image of thing. DONT USE THIS APP IF YOU WANT TO RISK ALL YOUR PHOTOS. I deleted all my photos in my phone after transferring them to this app. Since this app has DESTROYED my photos i have no way of getting them back.

### 1/5 — Not worth the cost

*2024-10-03*

The app could not be more basic, you are literally just creating a scrollable list and some line graphs counting pimples. It’s like someone’s first software development project freshman year of college. You can’t even export the data. Why is this $30?

### 3/5 — So far so good, but could be upgraded

*2023-12-24*

The app is very simple to use and helps keep track of skin progress. However, I think having an option to save your beauty/skin care products and correlating to see if those are a source of an outbreak would be beneficial.

### 4/5 — Does the job!

*2025-02-11, version 2.0.3*

Finding the app helpful so far; GP suspects I have hormonal acne and suggested I track the flare-ups. The notes section is useful for recording things like the face wash I’ve used, so I can see if anything is/is not helping.
I’d change 2 things, based on how I’m using it so far:
* I’d rather pay a one-off fee for this type of app than the subscription model, given there’s no cloud storage of photos, etc. involved (but I know subscriptions are how most apps work these days… I can dream!) so I’m sticking with the free version for now. If I’m still using the app regularly in a couple of months I might upgrade to a paid subscription then.
* I’d find it really useful to be able to export the data somehow - the 21 day graphs are useful in-app, but the developer website skincare test suggests sticking with a change for 4-6 weeks, so I would want to be able to see that data displayed over the last 8 weeks, rather than 21 days - and being able to convert it all into a PDF or something somehow so I can more easily show it to the doctor, would be really helpful (and worth paying for the app subscription at that point)

### 4/5 — Pretty good overall

*2023-09-11*

I like how simple and straightforward this app is. However, I wish there was a function for directly comparing photos taken at the same angle.

### 5/5 — Burst!

*2024-07-28*

Ranger is here!

### 5/5 — Good place to store and track photos

*2024-06-15, version 2.0.3*

It’s been 5 days and I’m really enjoying using this app so far! I used to store all my ‘skin’ photos in an album on my phone but this app has allowed me to track and compare factors too which is great.

Improvement- more options to track diet, like sugary foods, probiotics etc

### 5/5 — Super helpful!

*2024-03-19*

This app has been great for tracking my skin trends and being able to bring that info back to my doctor. I ended up paying to have the extra features, but I feel like the free version would have been okay. Excited to see how the app develops develops in the future!

### 5/5 — this app is really amazing

*2023-08-15*

i used to have really bad acne and tracking my accutane journey was fun to see my improvement on the ap, i wish they forced you to have an account because i had to get a new phone and i lost all my progress since i didnt have a phone but oh wrll
