## What is Skintrics · Skin Tracker?

Skintrics helps you understand what's actually affecting your skin — eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, topical steroid withdrawal (TSW), or anything else you're managing — by turning your daily logs into real patterns.

Skintrics includes a 7-day free trial with full access. After the trial, continued use requires a Skintrics Premium subscription.

DAILY SKIN TRACKING Log how your skin feels in seconds with a simple 0-10 score, track flares over time, and attach photos to see changes for yourself.

FIND YOUR TRIGGERS Log exposures — food, stress, sleep, pets, medication, skincare and more — and Skintrics surfaces which ones actually correlate with your flares, rated by confidence (Low, Moderate, High), with plain-language deep dives explaining the mechanism behind each one.

FOOD & GUT HEALTH Scan or search any food to get a Personalized Score built around your specific condition and known allergies or sensitivities, plus a daily Gut Health Score based on fibre, plant diversity and ultra-processed food intake.

SKINCARE, DECODED Scan a skincare product's barcode to see how its ingredients stack up against your condition, with recommendations from other Community members managing the same thing.

ENVIRONMENT INSIGHTS See your local water hardness, UV index, pollen level and heat all in one place on Home, with tips for whichever ones are actually worth watching today.

COMMUNITY Join condition-specific groups — Eczema, Acne, Rosacea, Psoriasis, and General — under an anonymous handle to share what's working, ask questions, and message other members directly.

BUILT FOR YOUR DERMATOLOGIST Export a clean, shareable report of your logs and trends to bring to your next GP or dermatologist appointment.

### 4/5 — Good at tracking

*2026-08-12*

I’ve been finding it helpful so far. I do want to request one thing. In the profile page, it says a number of triggers found, but it won’t say what the triggers are. Is it possible for there to be a way to clearly see what those triggers are? Aside from that, tracking is easy to do and takes only five minutes a day. I highly recommend for those struggling with skin issues.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! We will work on implementing this in the next update

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.20 — 2026-08-31

Your Gut Health Score now starts at 100 — points only come off for things that actually cause harm to your gut, so a clean ingredients list scores the way it should.

Help grow Skintrics' product database: if we don't have a product yet, snap a photo of the front of the pack and the ingredients label to contribute it. This now works for skincare products too, not just food.

Smoother contribution flow, with clear instructions at every step so it's always obvious what to photograph next.

Made a mistake in an ingredients photo? Retake it, or tap directly into any ingredient in the list to fix a typo — no more deleting and retyping from scratch.

Fixed a bug where Community post reply counts could show 0 even when a post had replies.

### 1.19 — 2026-07-24

Community is here — join condition-specific groups (Eczema, Acne, Rosacea, Psoriasis, and General) under an anonymous handle to share what's working and message other members directly.

New Environment card on Home shows your water hardness, UV index, pollen level and heat all in one place, with tips whenever one of them is actually worth watching.

You can now add or update your skin conditions any time from Profile — no need to have set this during onboarding.

Also in this update:
- Fixed a crash that could occur when logging a photo with the camera
- Community now loads instantly after the first time you open it each session
- Refreshed the daily log screen with a calmer skin-score slider and an always-visible save button
- Deleting your account now fully and permanently removes your data from this device

### 1.18 — 2026-07-14

Bug fixes

### 1.17 — 2026-07-14

This update makes Skintrics smarter at finding what's really affecting your skin:

Trigger detection now looks at gut health scores, weather (UV, humidity, pollen), and ultra-processed foods — not just general categories
Flagged stress or poor sleep as a trigger? You'll now get research-backed tips on managing it
Trigger deep-dive reports save automatically, so you're not regenerating them every time you check back
Preview your GP report as a PDF before you share it
New meal reminders help you stay consistent with food logging
Refreshed profile page with an at-a-glance stats view
Bug fixes and performance improvements

### 1.16 — 2026-07-08

Create food groups — log your own recipes and staples (like almonds or homemade müsli) as one tap, no barcode needed.
Swipe through your skin photos in Trends — no more tapping back and forth between days.
Fixed front camera photos saving flipped.
You'll now get a heads-up before your free trial ends.
Bug fixes and performance improvements, e.g. with food search.
