Made my order it never came. I disputed the order and they didn’t take responsibility for the order. I payed 41 dollars in my order that I never received and they don’t want give me my money back. Totally unacceptable. ### 1/5 — No responsibility for mistakes *2026-08-16, version 5.47.0* The last two times I have ordered from Skip the driver has taken off with my food and after 45 mins to an hour after my first estimated wait time they cancel my order. After complaining they say I can either receive when it gets to my place or take an order cancellation with no refund. Even the chat support talks in a tone that everything is my fault and offers me 50 cents skip credits because they can tell I’m mad. Easy uninstall of an app I wouldn’t recommend this service to a single person. I live in downtown Toronto and there are food couriers everywhere. There’s no reason for it to take so long to assign a courier to my order. The delivery time on the app keeps glitching and changing, and doesn’t accurately reflect when the food will arrive. The wait times have been outrageous for restaurants that are close to me. Trying to redeem a gift card alone has taken hours of my time with no resolution! I’m being bounced from one agent to another and they keep talking in circles! I placed an order to celebrate something special, waited two hours, and then was told the order had been cancelled because the driver was unable to pick it up for a “personal reason.” By that point, I could have gone out and picked something up myself—but instead I had already wasted two hours waiting. Yes, I received a refund, but that’s the bare minimum. There was no apology, no credit toward a future order, and no meaningful attempt to make up for the inconvenience. I’m also hearing that drivers may cancel orders when the tip is only at the minimum. If that’s happening, it raises serious questions about how this company manages its delivery service. Things go wrong sometimes. What matters is how a company treats its customers when they do. In this case, the customer service was practically nonexistent.
