First, the driver was excellent. They were patient, apologetic about a delay that was not theirs to cause, and clearly knew the app well enough to work around it. None of what follows is on them, and I would hate for a failed delivery record to reflect badly on someone who did everything right. The scanner took several attempts to read my license, and once it finally went through, the signature screen froze. Not slow, just frozen. The driver had to back all the way out, which erased the completed scan, and start the entire delivery over from the beginning, including scanning my ID a second time. It added a long, awkward delay at my door. The driver told me they had been through this before and had not been paid for a delivery they actually completed, because the app never registered it. I cannot verify that end of it, but I can verify the delivery happened and that the app clearly failed to record it cleanly. From the outside, this looks like the signature submit is waiting on the ID upload to finish, with no timeout and no retry. Please save each completed step locally, let the signature capture the work offline, and queue the upload to retry in the background. When a completed delivery can vanish because of a hung network call, that is not a UI annoyance; that is someone’s pay. ### 2/5 — Terribly engineered. You get dinged for that as if you don’t have a life outside of making these deliveries. If you decline an offer because the pay is bad or it’s too far, they will keep sending you that same order nonstop. The app also glitches all the time, it will randomly glitch out and take away a catering order you had signed up for days in advance, right before the pickup time. This morning I had a $40 catering order, I planned my whole morning accordingly, made sure I was online to confirm availability. As I’m leaving to pickup the order, the app glitches and tells me the offer has been reassigned, contacted support but they were useless. Support spent 10 minutes trying to resolve the issue and eventually told me “this order has been reassigned to someone else, have a nice day!” …. No compensation or anything. Messed up my whole morning. Please hire some developers that know how to do their job right, hire some support agents that know how to do their job right, or just shut down this low quality app and let the other companies that know what they’re doing get the business instead. **Developer response:** Hello!
