I love Skippy’s garden blog, so I was really excited to find this app. However it won’t open. It keeps saying “can’t connect to server,” so I guess I just wasted my money.

I never write reviews- but had to for this one. It is the WORSE!  Do not waste your money.  I downloaded the app- and all I get is that it can’t connect to the internet.   It is a rip off.

I just downloaded this app.  I have been gardening for 30 years and I work in a garden center.  The planting dates are all wrong.  I have numerous sources and none of them line up to the app.  Wish I could get my money back.

If you can’t add your frost dates this doesn’t do much for you. If they fix the bug and you can actually plan to plant when you are supposed to it might be worth it. Really expensive for an app I can’t use. 
Don’t buy if you don’t plan on using it on your phone or tablet.

I bought the new app but the option to change the frost dates isn’t working.  Audibly I can hear a scroll to find the date but the calendar numbers are like ghost- invisible- you can’t see them? 

I’ll go back and use the old app but wish I could use the one I just spent money on

I downloaded the new app.  It worked great.  The date picker worked well.  Once I entered the veggies I wanted to grow and the last and first frost dates where I live I was able to get knowledgeable advice on what to do when to grow my plants.  I could also tap a button and go to a page with more information about the particular vegetable I was interested in.  Give it a try.

Love this app! I was able to plant at just the right time, the plants I wanted to sow so fingers crossed I will be enjoying my veggies at just the right time!
