Password confirmed by phone by helpline and then locked out again a few days later. This is a very poor site . I have just spent two hours on the phone, online and on my phone trying to access my account. All to take out £100 to pay a bill. Next time you want to test run your new app don’t choose me as this has happened before and I was out of my account for over a week. I have a holiday coming up with my grandchildren. It doesn’t show your statements such as it’s not clear on how much we are paying per month there’s actually coming off on our capital and how much is interest. There is a clear breakdown every month. There is also always issues on the app and you can’t always do payments on there. Then despite give me alert that it hadn’t worked it logged me in and I was appearing to be live now I’ve just received an email through saying you’ve still got a register and it’s taking me out of the app and put me back to Square one again why are wire releasing app that is gonna be tested on its actual users and put them all in inconvenience? Absolutely awful approach. Have you worked in the software industry for 30 year This is exactly how you don’t do it. ### 1/5 — Poor *2026-05-02, version 2.6.5* No statements in the app. Must be the last financial organisation to think this is ok. ### 1/5 — Bad processes *2026-04-24, version 2.6.5* I was told on the telephone recently that whilst it doesn’t tell you on Skipton online that you’re not allowed to both login online and on the app. Now I find out after waiting two weeks to get a registration code in which time I am unable to access what is supposed to be an easy access account and I find out now finally logging into the app that should I wish to change my nominated account, which I don’t know, but even if I did in the future that has to be done logging in online! Crazy I’ve told you can’t use both but now told that you have to use both to be able to change something - not impressed Skipton with your process on both occasions!! ### 1/5 — Create PIN *2026-04-10, version 2.6.5* To set up app have to create a PIN. iPad version of app for not display a keyboard option to do this. Tried reinstalling, changing font size, etc but nothing worked. I can open another account in seconds of which I did and transfer what I want across. The messaging facility is so easy to send. Overall I’m very happy with the simplicity of the Skipton online account.
