## What is Skirtu?

Turn songs you love into focused practice tracks.
Stem Practice separates a DRM-free audio file into four parts: vocals, drums, bass, and other instruments. Listen to each part on its own, remove it from the mix, or combine the parts any way you like.
MADE FOR INSTRUMENT PRACTICE
• Solo a part to hear exactly what it is doing
• Mute your part and play along with the rest of the song
• Slow playback from 0.50× to 1.25× without changing pitch
• Loop difficult sections with A/B repeat
• Jump backward or forward five seconds while learning
HEAR THE SONG FROM THE INSIDE
Study grooves, bass lines, vocal phrasing, and arrangements. Adjust each part’s volume, mute or solo it, then save your preferred mix for next time.
SING ALONG
Choose the No Vocals preset to turn your track into a karaoke-style backing mix. You can also remove drums or bass with one tap.
IMPORT AND EXPORT
Import DRM-free MP3, M4A/AAC, WAV, AIFF, and FLAC files up to 15 minutes long. Export your current mix as an M4A file at its original speed.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Separation runs on your device. Your audio is not uploaded to a server, and no account is required.
FREE TO USE
Every feature is free. If Stem Practice helps you, you can optionally support development with a single, non-recurring in-app purchase.
Source separation can leave faint sounds or artifacts, especially in complex mixes. “Other instruments” may include guitar, keys, strings, and any sound not classified as vocals, drums, or bass.
