Recently with iPhone 14 I can no longer hit the next button to scan each body part. It looks like the button animation works but does not accept and locks up. I can’t sync from device to my phone either. Please fix and I’ll bump review to 4/5 again ### 2/5 — App is lagging *2023-03-07, version 2.9.9* App support is not available. I have to reconnect the unit via bluetooth every time I want to measure. When I turn off the unit the app crashes. ### 2/5 — Useful but crashy and buggy UI *2022-10-15, version 2.9.9* The app is really useful to measure and visualize muscle groups together with the Chisel hardware, however, the app crashes often (e.g., after tapping a muscle group) and some buttons do not respect the safe areas of the screen, and, thus, are difficult to tap, often requiring several tries. It would be really nice to see these 2 issues addressed! 🙏 ### 3/5 — Numbers seem way off *2022-04-25, version 2.9.9* So I use a smart scale which puts my body fat at around 17.5%. I’ve used several different scales and they are generally close to each other. This device however is showing me at about 25-33%; just looking at the photos of a male at 20% vs 30% online I can see that I’m no where near being 30% body fat. ### 3/5 — Please Update *2021-09-04, version 2.9.7* Please update de software. I was hoping it to. I was hoping to use it to measure my body fat percentages and see things that I need to improve. It never charged properly from the very beginning, and has never charged properly since then. I put it into the cradle and it flashes red to green or just just flashing green as if it’s charging I guess? But only does it for about one or two minutes and then it stops so I have never been able to use my Sculpt equipment. I originally thought I was doing something wrong and then I allowed my son to try to use it and the same thing was happening for him. I was being lazy and never sent it back but I found the box underneath my bathroom sink as I was moving, and finally decided to leave a review. I found my chisel device when doing some cleaning. Remembered I hated it with a burning passion. Thought I’d charge it and make sure it works so I could sell it. The company sent it to me for free after I blasted their AIM device all over the internet because it was junk too. This app crashes repeatedly before I can even pair the device to test it before selling. I smashed it in my bench vice. The top right, top left, bottom right and bottom left corners of this app are filled with buttons like “stop” and “start.” Imagine that this entirely limits whatever functionality is intended. The tech itself is also very inconsistent and the results are just about random. The margin of variance is so wide there’s no way to tell what’s happening with your muscle fitness. I’ve measured it’s accuracy against a Dexa and Evolt And inbody scans all within an hour the Skulpt was closets to the Dexa. It can be touchy at times. Unfortunately it has not been updated but it does everything it’s supposed to do. Results are inline with how I look (9-10%). Quick and easy. Really helps those who don't want to lose weight but want to get fitter/stronger. Handy tip is to wet the area you are measuring as well as spraying the sensors. This gives very consistent results.
