## What is Sky Above App?

What's flying above you right now? Sky Above shows you the sky exactly as it looks over your head – with everything that shines and flies up there.
EVERYTHING ABOVE YOU. LIVE.
• Stars and constellations with names, the Milky Way and all the planets
• Over 12,000 satellites in real time – Starlink, OneWeb, Galileo, weather satellites and the ISS
• Planes above your city with route, altitude, distance and estimated arrival time
IDENTIFY ANYTHING WITH AR
Hold up your iPhone or iPad: Sky Above places the names of stars, planets, satellites and planes exactly where they are – over the camera image if you like.
RIDE ALONG WITH THE ISS
Follow the space station or any other satellite around Earth in 3D – from the cockpit or from outside, with time-lapse and the day-night line.
12,000 SATELLITES AROUND EARTH
A 3D globe with every satellite. See how densely Starlink circles the planet and how far out Galileo flies.
EVERY PLANE ABOVE YOUR CITY
The map view shows every aircraft near you. Tap one to see where it comes from, where it's going and when it lands.
THE MOON AND PLANETS IN DETAIL
• Moon phase, rise and set, distance and a calendar for any day
• Every planet with position, rise time, distance and key facts
• The solar system in motion – scrub through time and watch the planets move
THOUGHT THROUGH
• Works offline: stars, planets and the Moon are calculated on your device
• "Like the real sky": shows only what you could see with the naked eye
• Time-lapse: run the sky up to 1,800 times faster
• For iPhone, iPad and Mac – buy once, use everywhere
• English and German
YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU
No account, no ads, no tracking. The camera image never leaves your device.
Look up – Sky Above tells you what you're seeing.
